A BIG THANKYOU to the P & C
Earlier this week, schools were notified through the eSafety commissioner, that there is some very concerning content being circulated on various social media platforms.
It is advisable for parents /guardians to keep their child/children off social media for the next few days and carefully monitor all phone /app/ social media usage.
All parents should have received this alert from our school. If you did not receive this message, please contact the school office to check email contact details are current and correct.
A big Thankyou to the P & C for organising our Father’s Day Stall. It was great to see the children so happy to purchase gifts for their loved ones. A huge Congratulations our winners of the Father’s Day Raffle, drawn by Ms Williams.
P & C AGM
R U OK? Day Thursday 10th September
The P & C AGM is scheduled for Monday 14th September at 7pm via Zoom. If you are interested in joining the zoom meeting please contact Rene Griffiths.
2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and circumstances have made it even more important for us all to stay connected, and for those who are able to give support, be willing to offer that support to those around us.
The focus of R U OK? Day is to help Australians know what to say when someone says they’re not OK and guide them through how they can continue a conversation that could change a life.
You don’t have to be an expert to keep the conversation going when someone says they’re not OK. By knowing what to say you can help someone feel supported and access appropriate help long before they’re in crisis, which can make a really positive difference to their life.
Updated Contact Details
A reminder to all parents and carers regarding email , phone and address details. If you have
recently changed any of the these contacts , please call the school and inform them of any
changes. The contacts of all people listed in our school records need to be current. If we are
unable to make contact with the initial contact person, alternative contacts must be accessible
to us, so please ensure you keep us updated. There is a form attached in this newsletter for you to
update or make changes to contacts, if required.
