The story revolves around the relationship between a mentally challenged

father and his daughter when hes falsely accused of murder and

imprison. During his time in prison he met with hatred he recognie the

terribleness of his crime! which not only includes "illing a little girl who

happens to be the police commissioners daughter! but of cruelly

"idnapping and molesting her as well .#hat follows is a story that ta"es

place in two time periods. #here the father grown$up the daughter wor"s

as a lawyer to clear his name! the year that her father was accused and

imprisoned in Cell No. 7. It was there that he met the cellmates whowould become not only his friends but also family to him. and his

daughter plan to snea" her into the prison. %oon the entire prison

population &oins in the e'ort to try and save the innocent man from being

e(ecuted. This movie is very entertaining because of the e'orts of the

prisoners. )erhaps most breathta"ing about *ong$gu as a character was

watching how hard he tried to understand and comprehend! since the

moments which really stayed with me after the movie ended were his

moments of clarity. The very loo" in his eyes would shift and change when

he could understand &ust enough of any given situation to ma"e decisionsbased on the person he loved more than anything and would give

anything for+ his daughter.
