Earlier EC was issued vide thisoffice letter no. SEIAA/70dated 07.02.2011 andExtension of validity of EC videletter no. 2989/SEIAA dated09.05.2017.

Now the Project proponent hasapplied for amendment of ECas the building plan has someminor amendments in thedesign aspect.The proposal was placed inthe 212th meeting of SEIAAand was deferred to the nextmeeting.

Violations of EC conditions havebeen reported by MoEF&CC,Regional Office on their siteinspection. Accordingly, the PPwas asked to make apresentation before thisAuthority on the status ofcompliance of the EC conditionsand cause of the violationscommitted by them on24.08.2018. In pursuance of thenotice to them to this effectdated 21.08.2018, the PP hasmade a presentation on the24.08.2018 at 12 ‘O’ clock. Theyare required to file a report onthe status of compliance of theoriginal conditions of the EC,andclarify in that report on specificcases of noncompliance. Proofof compliance of the individualconditions is also to be furnishedin their report. The PP has alsoto file formal application forrenewal of EC which hasexpired since March, 2016.
