The new name will more accurately describe the business emphasis of the program to external stakeholders. Note, change
of the department's name to Mari me Business Administra on was approved Spring 2019.
To remove add MARA 416 from 435, MARA 470 and MARA 475 to the list of required elec ve courses. This has the effect of
reducing the number of required credit hours from 12 to 9 hours, and increasing the number of elec ves hours from 6 to 9.
The total credit hours required by the program does not change.
To add ACCT 230, FINC 341, MARA 212, MARA 373, MARA 416 and MKTG 321 to the list of elec ve courses.

Minor” Is a program enrollment limita on that cannot be enforced in the degree evalua on. This statement
would be best added to the Overview tab of the programs Catalog page.
