The microGENUS II is the successor to one of theUK’s most popular combination boilers themicroGENUS. microGENUS II is even closer to yourneeds because it has been developed fromAriston’s extensive experience in providing comfortto millions of homes around the world. One ofEurope’s leading brands for over 40 years. The manufacturing process is certified to ISO9001 standard guaranteeing the best in quality.Manufactured on state-of-the-art production lineseach process is constantly tested, checked andsubjected to strict Quality Control to guarantee thelong-life and the absolute reliability of every boiler. For any further needs that may arise after a boiler’sinstallation, Ariston places the best in technicalsupport and customer service at your disposal, offering swift and highly qualified assistance.
STYLISH, COMPACT AND POWERFULjust 700 x 400 x 300 mm
microGENUS II - DEVELOPEDFROM OVER 40 YEARS OFARISTON QUALITY
with the option toextend up to 5
years
microGENUS II combines the most advancedheating and domestic hot water productiontechnologies in one compact unit, with tinydimensions, of just, 700 x 400 x 300 mm, it canbe installed almost anywhere.Reliable, quiet, durable, and hard working, thisboiler looks great and offers three differentoutputs to suit most needs - with D.H.W. flowrates up to 12.7 l/min at ∆T = 35°C. Thisbacked up by a comprehensive 2 year guaranteethat can be extended up to 5 years, makesmicroGENUS II unbeatable in performance andpeace of mind.
With the microGENUS II, Ariston hasincreased the level of quality andperformance that is normallyachieved traditionally by largerboilers. It is decidedly different fromothers on the market that often needto sacrifice quality or performance inorder to reduce dimensions.

5 year guaranteeon D.H.W. plateheat exchanger
As a part of Ariston’scontinuous attention toinstaller requirements, thebest technical and designsolutions have beenemployed in themicroGENUS II, makinginstallation easier even inthe tightest of spaces. Itssmall size and low weightallows for easy handling bya single person. The fluesystem installation hasalso been simplified, savinginstallers valuable time, improving competitivenessand efficiency.
Also periodic servicing and checks are easierand quick, thanks to the combustion analysisdevice, easy access to all components andintegrated innovative system diagnostics.microGENUS II can be serviced and worked oneasily and has been designed to enableaccess to all components from the fronteliminating the need for side access. Outletsfor the analysis of combustion products andthe revolutionary new P.C.B. withmicroprocessor allows boiler functions to betested via the built-in digital display.microGENUS II knows “how to look afteritself”; the anti-frost device is activated whenthe temperature of the water in the heatingcircuit is low, whilst the anti-scale deviceprevents the excessive rising of thetemperature of domestic hot water. In the same way the anti-pump seizing deviceallows the boiler to be ready to function afterlong periods of inactivity.

COMFORT FUNCTION ensures hot water in 5 secondsSwitching to Comfort produces hot water at outletsmuch faster than a traditional combination boiler. This is possible because when the Comfort functionis selected, the hot water is maintained at atemperature between 34°C and 40°C, allowinginstantaneous (<5 sec.) hot water supply. Also the electronic temperature control guaranteesthat the domestic hot water is always supplied at thedesired temperature, without detectable temperaturevariations. FLUE PIPE ACCESSORIES - EASY INSTALLATION WITHUNRIVALED FLEXIBILITY
Ariston boilers are designed to becompletely adaptable to every possibleflue situation that may be encounteredin boiler installation. The need for alteration to fluecomponents is almost completelyeliminated, making installation of theboiler quick and easy.It is possible to site flueterminals in a variety ofpositions in accordancewith BS5440-1:2000.

ACCESSORIES AND SPARE PARTSENGINEERED FORPERFECT INSTALLATION
JIG-KITSupplied within the boiler as standardThe jig-kit makes installation easierbecause it allows you to fill thesystem even without the boiler fitted. It is equipped with 4 isolation valves:2 for the heating circuit, 1 for thedomestic water system and one forthe gas. The system return isolation valve canbe connected to the system cleanerusing the cap provided. The bracketthat holds the valves can bepositioned in two ways depending onwhether installation is with or withoutthe rear-piping chassis, and allowssmall adjustments for irregular walls.
The kit is supplied with:• double non-return valves on the
filling loop for filling the system.• Copper tail pipes to ease soldering
to the system piping.
SYSTEM CLEANERA practical accessory for cleaningthe heating system. It is simple to use: connect thesystem cleaner to the system returnisolation valve, open the systemreturn isolation valve, switch on theboiler, allow the pump to run for thenecessary time then remove thesystem cleaner from the kit.The filter provided is made up of aremovable cartridge which absorbsany impurities in the system. This allows the flushing of a newheating system without theimpurities damaging the boilercomponents. The system cleaner can also beused to add chemical additives suchas cleansers and inhibitors.
REAR-PIPING CHASSISAllows easy installation in situationswhere the system pipes are requiredto run up the rear of the boiler. The rear-piping chassis consists of abracket on which the boiler is hung, this has two flanks that extend theside panel of the boiler chassis.Assemble by just bringing forwardthe valve kit and connecting thepipes. The rear-piping chassis kit includesthe pipe work elements forconnection to the system.
JIG-KIT COVERTo conceal the pipe-work or jig-kitbelow the boiler a specially designedcover is available. The cover is simplyand easily mounted to the bottom ofthe boiler.
DIGITAL TIME CLOCKThe addition of a 7 day digital timeclock allows the user to program thecentral heating to operate inconjunction with their lifestyle andweekly routine. It is possible to setthe boiler to turn on and off up to20 preset times during the week:allowing users to differentiatesetting between weekdays and theweekend for example. It is alsopossible to override the automaticsettings and operate the boilermanually at any time.
ANTI-THEFT DEVICEProtects the boiler from theft andcan be assembled in two ways: withor without the rear-piping chassis. The simple assembly instructionsare included in the jig-kit and on theanti-theft device itself.
OUTDOOR SENSORAn optional accessory tooptimise comfort and efficiency
The microGENUS II outdoortemperature sensor can increaseboth comfort and energy efficiency. The sensor works in conjunctionwith the advanced microprocessor tomonitor outside temperatures andconditions assessing the thermalpower requirements. Increasingpower when cold, decreasing powerwhen warmer therefore increasingoverall system efficiency.
