1.00 Firefox Browser Settings

1.01 Opening the Options menu

1. Step 1: Press <ALT> + <T> to activate the Tools dropdown. <ALT>+<T> works even if the toolbar is hidden and is not showing the “File – Edit – View” dropdown options.

2. Step 2: Select Options from the bottom of the list.

1.02 Pop-ups

1. Step 1: To create a pop-up exception and leave the pop-up blocker on, click the Exceptions button to the right of “Block Pop-up windows.” Then add the following websites to the Exceptions list:

[Click “Allow” after each entry]

2. Step 2: To completely turn off popup blocker on the Content tab, uncheck the box for “Block Pop-up windows.”

1.03 Enabling Cookies 1. Step 1: Go to the Privacy tab

2. Step 2: Under the History section make sure Firefox will Use Custom settings for history is selected. 3. Step 3: Verify Accept cookies from sites and Accept third-party cookies are checked.

1. Step 1: From the Privacy tab click on the button to Show Cookies.

2. Step 2: Select the option to Remove All Cookies

1.05 Clearing Cache

1. Step 1: Click on the Advanced tab.

2. Step 2: Go to the Network sub tab.

3. Step 3: Click on the button next to “Cached Web Content” that says Clear now.

2.00 Internet Explorer 10 Browser Settings

2.01 Open Internet Options

1. Step 1: Click on Tools or press <ALT>+<T>

2. Step 2: From the drop-down options menu choose Internet Options.

2.02 Delete Browsing History

1. Step 1: Under the Browsing History section click Delete.

2. Step 2: Select the following Preserve Favorites website data Temporary Internet Files Cookies History and Form data

[Form data may be optional]

3. Step 3: Click Delete**

**This may take some time. Below screenshot of what you will see.

2.03 Update Navigation Settings

1. Step 1: From the Internet Options Window click on the Security tab.

2. Step 2: Click on the Earth icon.

3. Step 3: Click on Custom level.

4. Step 4: Make sure “reset custom settings” is set to Medium-High and if not, select it and press the reset button and then click Yes.

5. Step 5: Click Custom level.

6. Step 6: About 2/3 down in the list you will see an option that says Navigate windows and frames across different domains. Make sure it is enabled and click on OK.

*** A shortcut for this is to press the letter <N> on the keyboard and it should go directly to it.

7. Step 7: Click Yes at the next java prompt

8. Step 8: Stay on the Security tab and click on the Trusted Sites icon [green check mark].

9. Step 9: Follow steps 3-6 above.

10. Step 10: Click on the Sites button.

11. Step 11: Enter the following 2 sites in trusted sites [top box]

⇒ https://www.ea.netit.financial-net.com ⇒ https://www.financial-net.com

12. Step 12: Click Close.

2.04 Update Cookie Handling

Step 1: Click on the Privacy tab.

Step 2: Click Advanced.

Step 3: Make sure Override automatic cookie handling and always allow session cookies are checked.

Step 4: First and Third-Party Cookies should both say Accept.

Step 5: Click OK.

2.05 Update Compatibility View Settings

1. Step 1: Go to the Tools drop down menu.

2. Step 2: Click Compatibility View Settings.

3. Step 3: Make sure display all websites in Compatibility View is checked.

2.10 Internet Explorer 11 Browser Settings

2.11 Update Compatibility View Settings

1. Step 1: Check compatibility view settings to ensure pages display properly.

2. Step 2: To open the tools menu – press <ALT>+<T>

3. Step 3: If you are unable to see the tool menu at this point, you should try switching from Metro Mode to Desktop Mode on the browser. ** Windows 8 only**

a. Click on the wrench next to the address bar.

If the address bar is not showing press the <Windows Key> and the <Z> key on the keyboard at the same time. This should bring up the address bar.

b. Once the wrench is showing click on it and then choose the option to View on the desktop

c. Open the tools menu – press <ALT>+<T>

4. Step 4: Click on Compatibility View Settings.

5. Step 5: Check the box for Display all websites in compatibility view.


***This should resolve issues with blank or white pages when clicking on links within Online Banking.

2.12 Delete Browsing History

1. Step 1: Open the Tools Menu and choose the option for Internet Options.

2. Step 2: Click on the Delete button under the Browsing History section.

3. Step 3: Make sure that the following are checked

Preserve Favorites Website Data Temporary Internet files and website files Cookies and website data History

4. Step 4: Click Delete at the bottom of the page. It may take some time for the files to be deleted

3. Step 3: Make sure the setting for Navigate windows and frames across different domains is set to enable.

***A shortcut for this is to press the letter <N> on the keyboard and it goes right to it.

4. Step 4: Click on OK.

5. Step 5: Click on the green check mark for Trusted Sites and click on Sites

6. Step 6: Add the following websites to Trusted Sites

3.02 Clear Cookies and Cookie handling 1. Step 1: Click Safari. 2. Step 2: Click Preferences. 3. Step 3: Click the Security tab. 4. Step 4: In the accept cookies section make sure only from sites I visit block cookies from third parties and advertisers are selected. 5. Step 5: Click on Show Cookies and delete all cookies.

Check the date settings on your computer and make sure to adjust them to reflect the correct month and year.

Why does a link not work?
