Introducing Minimondos

With 20 years experience as an international designer, buyer and brand director, I felt the world of children’s toys, dolls and games had been left behind in the movement towards lifestyle brands and aesthetic product design. I wanted to bring something new to the market.

Like all products, toys are the expression of different lifestyles and values. What makes Minimondos stand apart from other toy brands is the deeper, more compelling connection they have for both children and parents. They bring personality to the experience of play.

Each Minimondos character has a distinctive, cheeky personality; a unique sense of style and expression; and a diverse heritage. We want to encourage children to embrace their own, and each other’s, individuality in a fun way.

Working with a team of talented young illustrators located across the globe, we spent a year bringing the characters to life, testing them with various groups of children and building the Minimondos world which is diverse, unique, magical, and both modern and nostalgic.

Minimondos products are beautifully designed with care and style. Using a sophisticated colour palette of warm greys and blues, a range of wonderful illustrations and high quality matt finishes and textiles, they are crafted to stand apart visually from the rest of the industry.

We invested in the highest quality materials, constructions, techniques and manufacturers to create a range of high quality, competitive and safe range of products for children. All Minimondos products have passed or exceeded international toy safety standards (EN 71, ASTM F963, AS/NZ ISO 8124)
