Low Thermal Conductivity Cavity Wall TiesThese wall ties minimise heat transfer across an insulated cavity,improving the energy performance of a masonry wall. They aremanufactured in a variety of lengths to suit cavities from 50mmto 300mm. In addition to stainless steel wire products,the low thermal conductivity range includes TeploTiewhich is manufactured from basalt fibres.TeploTie is exclusive to Ancon and is the mostthermally-efficient wall tie on the market. It has athermal conductivity of just 0.7W/mK and so isexcluded from U-value calculations to EN ISO 6946.

Thermal Breaks at Balcony LocationsAncon Balcony Connectors provide a thermal break betweenan external balcony and an internal structural frame, where thefixings pass through the building envelope. The range includessolutions for concrete-to-concrete, steel-to-steel andsteel-to-concrete applications. They are suitable for variousfloor depths and cavity widths. Bespoke configurations canbe designed for individual project requirements.
Ancon Insulating Shims provide a thermal break between stainless steel masonry fixings and thestructural frame. These shims combine low thermal conductivity (0.3 W/mK) with high compressivestrength. They are ideal for use on exemplary projects with the highest energy efficiency performancerequirements.

All scrap steel generated by our manufacturing operations is recycled, so nothingis wasted. We also recycle all wood, paper and card, and even compost fruit skins and tea bags!
