    ABSTRACT

    Badminton netting's storage case is a project implemented aims to resolve a

    problem in netting storage by badminton player. This idea blaze when see proses difficult

    storage and no specific space for netting storage this badminton. The net is kept likely

    will be spoilt. Apart from that, difficulty in netting storage. This happened because with

    method used usual method roll need 2 player in storage badminton netting after use.

    Apart from that also, difficulty in raise post when want play badminton because original

    post is immensely heavy. As such we replace inherent post with PVC because PVC is

    light thing and resilient in hot weather.

    NETTING BADMINTON STORAGE CASE

    1.0 INTRODUCTION

    The history of badminton can be traced back many to the games of battledore and

    shuttlecock which were played in ancient Greece over 2000 years ago. The game we

    all know as badminton began in the 19th century (1870) and was named by the Duke

    of Beaufort after Badminton House in Gloucestershire1. The International Badminton

    Federation now has its base in Gloucestershire.

    Now days, badminton has grown and become one of the popular sports in Malaysia

    where the standard faciliti and players have reached world standards. for example, our

    country has courts that have recognized and able to host major championships such as

    the super series and world championship. In addition, that our

    country has produced world class players for example, Dato Lee Chong Wei is

    the world's No. 1 player now has won many world-class championship

    1.1 PROBLEM STATEMENTS

    The problem that we found when we conduct research, installation and storage of

    badminton nets are take a long time. We have to open and role up the nets first, and

    the installation process and storage currently using two people to operate them. In

    addition, difficulties during the process of lifting the net because they can cause

    injuries to the hand. With the problems there are in the process of assembly and

    storage, we will make changes and improvements in the system installation process

    and storage badminton nets.

    1.2 PROJECTS GOALS

    Between the goals of this project is as badminton nets :

    to facilitate the installation work.

    to reduce manpower to install nets

    to save space when storing.

    1.3 OBJECTIVE

    Our purpose produce storage badminton netting case to achieve a few that objective :

    Produce to storage netting badminton case.

    Easy to roll and keep the badminton netting.

    1.4 SCOPE

    Scope or specialization which we consider in our project is :

    2.0 LITERATURE REVIEW

    2.0 INTRODUCTION

    Each product is designed mainly as a result of earlier studies. Although it is only a recent

    discovery but it would have similar or the continuation of the form, manner and method it

    is a modification of what has been created by an earlier generation, but it is just opinion

    or is removed.

    2.1 CASE STUDY

    With observation that we do at the court badminton they still used the manual

    method within they need to tie off the end of the rope to a stake. Pull the stake so the rope

    is at a 45-degree angle from the pole and pull it to the side. Secure the stake into the

    ground. The stake provides extra stability for the pole and repeat this process on the other

    pole, this has their own advantage and disadvantages

    Cheap.

    No need maintenance cost.

    2.1.2 DISADVANTAGES

    Use a maximum humans energy.

    2.1.3 MANUAL PROCESS TO INSTALL NET BADMINTON

    The normal installation work is usually done manually on the badminton.

    Installation works on the badminton requires energy, and requires two people to install

    the nets. The hall for various columns on the badminton is in the can over. For easy

    installation and storage on the badminton requires other means to facilitate the

    installation of these nets. Installation and storage of badminton may be simplified by

    using a special container. This is a mobile container.

    3.0 METHODOLOGY

    3.0 INTRODUCTION

    The methodology is a method of execution used to achieve the completion of a

    project. Here, we use several methods of work used in mechanical

    engineering workshops and laboratories, such as welding, cutting and

    turning cutting and turning and metal alloys.

    Among the tools we use are metal cutting machine (Grinder), welding equipment,

    lathe machine and so on. All the above methods and tools work is important in

    completing the planned project. To implement this

    project go smoothly, systematic measures should be planned in advance according to the

    sequence. These measures ensure the project is importance for satisfactory and according

    as planned.

    3.2 WORKING METHOD

    3.2.1 Procedures

    1. Start work, make sure all required tools such as saws and grinder must be in a state that

    can be used.

    2. Make sure the components to be used in good condition and no damage or blemish .

    3. Firstly, make a calculation and design

    4. make a sketch of the measurement on the body frame.

    7.Build a shaft of bevel gear on body project, this bevel gear was weld with the shaft.

    8. Joining motor to the body project. Installation work must be done carefully to ensure

    that the motors in parallel on the Bevel gear shaft to produce a good round.

    by bearing at upper and lower interior case.

    4.0 DESIGN

    4.1 FACTOR OF DESIGN

    4.1.1 Factor of safety

    Factor of safety can mean the situation that become injury to safety.

    4.1.2 Factor of ergonomic

    Ergonomic is scientific discipline concerned with designing according to the

    human need, and the profession that theory, principles, data and method to design in

    order to optimize human well-being and overall system performance.

    In this project when a design is complete, model for design tool to build a design

    must be search first. By this estimate about tool cost, manufacturing cost, raw materials

    cost have calculate to estimated income from the design.

    4.1.3 Factor of environment

    Before build a design, we have research weather the design that will build is

    suitable with environment. Environment and design is put influence each other.

    4.1.4 Factor of manufacturing

    In manufacturing a design, raw materials in manufacturing process have to

    deliberate earlier. This because manufacturing method that choose not influence the

    design shape but the tool cost.

    5.0 IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT

    5.1 Main Part Netting Badminton Storage Case

    5.1.1 Power Window 12v D.C

    It is the main component to drive the movement in and out on the badminton.

    These motors are connected in modified with screws on the side of the body.

    Motor movement will be controlled by a switch that almost the same as the power

    window system of the car.

    It is a mechanism for sending a motor cycle to cycle to the rod shaft.

    Bevel gears are made from strong, lightweight steel.

    5.2 Project Result

    After several months of the project, through some parts from the first design to

    development this project. Project Netting Badminton Storage Case finally be completed.

    5.3 SYSTEM OPERATION

    After the project is almost completed and work, we have made an attempt on this

    project. This attempt to ensure that all components of the installation is in a goodsituation and right to Avoid the problems that will occur during this project work. After

    Ensuring that the project is safe and can work well, we will make the trial function of the

    project.

    5.3.1 Operation For Netting Badminton Storage Case (opening)

    This project started with installing the first by inserting into the hole and make

    sure the additional columns filled the holes. Then, press and hold the switch pull and pull

    until the opening of the second pillar and attach the hook. After that, be sure to follow the

    standard tension pole, and start the game.

    5.3.2 Operation for Netting Badminton Storage Case (closing)

    After the session, the storage process is done by opening the second pole and

    hangers on and the hold switch and the process of winding up into the storage container

    begins. After completion of the process. All equipment packed and stored completion.

    5.3.3 Operation for Extension The Net

    6.0 DISCUSSION AND SUGGESTION

    6.1 DISCUSSION

    Discussion is an activity that needs to be done to enable team members to voice

    an opinion and comment that they are unhappy about what has been done to build a

    prototype project. Before starting our project at the beginning of the semester we

    discussed many things among them is the selection of materials to be used in our project.

    Among the aspects that we take into account in the discussion is about the cost of

    materials, quality, and quantity. If we look at in terms of material costs, there are two

    things we think about the material that has a high price and the material having a low

    price. However, not only prices only to be taken into account, the quality of the goods

    purchased must also be known. This is because there are cheaper but the quality of goods

    is not good, but there are also items that cheap but it has better quality. The quantity of

    materials to be purchased must be identified to know how much material will be used in

    the project. In addition, the types of materials to be used in this project should also be

    known to facilitate the search process materials to be purchased.

    Our group has also held discussions with the lecturer on project problems we face

    as difficult to find materials and tools for our projects such as the difficulty to find the

    'gear'. But this problem can be overcome is the result of our discussions with lecturers

    and fellow project at the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

    In addition, we also discussed about the project can t walk properly or as intended

    when the tests on him. Here we have a lot has to do a lot of discussion to find a good and

    effective solution to overcome the problem.

    Therefore, discussion groups and lecturers is very important in the success of thisproject and overcome problems that arise during the project. In addition, the cooperation

    of the group is also very important because without the cooperation of the members of a

    planned project may not be able to run smoothly.

    6.1.1 Advantages

    Easy to storage the net.

    May be handle only one person.

    Netting storage more systematic.

    6.2 SUGGESTION

    The proposal is an idea given to enable an object that was created improved its

    ability to be the thing to function effectively and efficiently and more effectively. Based

    on the projects that have been made, there remain some deficiencies or weaknesses that

    can reduce consumption rates. Maybe in the near future it can be further improved in line

    with the requirements of users. Among the proposed improvements to be implemented

    are:

    In order to redesign looks very neat and organized and electric system.

    Improvement by using the automatic winding turn.

    Change the colour to make them more attractive look.

    Create columns that can be adjusted for use for people who are less height.

    Various functions are not only based on the badminton net. It is also to net takraw and

    tennis.
