This annual tradition is extremely enjoyable, enriching/educational, an opportunity for social

We need volunteers to help with the following:

• Selling Tickets in Advance. During the four weeks prior to the event, we sell tickets on Friday mornings at the PTA table. Tickets will be cheaper presale, but will also be available during the event. (3 for $1 before and 2 for a $1 at the door) Please contact us for alternative arrangements if needed. Leads: Laura Sears & Shuchita Malik

• Game Booth Set-Up on the day of event and some prior assistance with organization. We start pulling out of the shed and then “crunch time” set up once the bell rings to make sure everything is ready to go at the start of the carnival. Leads: Joseph Johnson & Michael De Unamo

• Take Down/Clean Up/Putting away everything at the end of carnival. Help move all the game booths back to the shed, put away all the game pieces, return prize containers, and any other organization or clean up. This usually takes about 1 hour to complete (less if we have more help). Leads: Akinder Gill, Joseph Johnson, & Michael De Unamo

• Working at a booth during the event. We have game/activity booths, STEAM Stations, ticket booths, prize booths, and selling booths (glow necklaces, popcorn, pizza, etc.). We need to have lots of volunteers to work these. If you can help, it would really make a difference! Please sign up in ½ hour increments, and indicate times you are available. Lead: Akinder Gill

• Donate pastries/baked goods for the Cake Walk. This is a very popular activity. Bring store bought baked goods for prizes! The more we have, the more winners we can have! Please bring to the school between 3 to 4 pm on 10/26 or contact us if you can or need to donate prior to the event. Lead: Christa Brand

• Donate prizes for the Fall Carnival: ie. stickers, pencils, erasers, candy, & small toys/trinkets. Please bring these to the 9/28 PTA meeting, the PTA table on Friday mornings, or contact us for alternative arrangements.

• Sign ups for every event including the Fall Carnival are on Oroola as well as posted on Millard PTA sites. Additionally, you may contact us with any further questions.

• REMINDER: All children must be accompanied at all times by their parent/caregiver and must stay in the designated carnival area.
