What is ACFC SYSTEMACFC stands for Auto Cane Feed Control System. This system is PLC/DCS based system. Auto Cane Feed control system specifically use in sugar industries.The System has proportionate control on carrier speed with respect to Donnelly Chute Levels and override control on carrier speed with respect to load on preparatory devices, such that the load is always within safe limits to avoid tripping of the preparatory devices on load.

Purpose of ACFC:-This system has been designed to ensure steady feeding of cane and to achieve the targeted performance & smooth running of the mill by continuous monitoring.

Advantages of ACFC System:-

1. Eliminates the possibility of chocking /jamming / overloading and tripping of cane preparatory devices like Chopper, Cutter, Leveler, Fibrizer and shredders.

2. Ensured Constant feed to Mills.3. Ensured steady crushing rate and maximum extraction from the Mills.4. Reduce wear & tear losses of cane preparatory devices & carriers.5. Reduce the losses generated due to the human error. 6. Reduce the consumption of steam.7. Reduce the process time and increase the efficiency of the process.8. Increase the quality of product.

Why use:-

• Constant Juice Flow for Process ensures even loading in the Boiling House and Stabilizes and Reduces the Steam Consumption which means higher Boiling House efficiency and Bagasse Saving, stable Juice Flow also helps in better Juice pH Control which in turn ensures better Juice and Sugar Colour which means better Sugar Price.
