• SROs received a national certification through the National Association For School Resource Officers by attending the following: – Basic SRO course (40 hours of instruction): officer

will learn how to function in a school by working as a resource and problem solver, and developing teaching skills.

– Advanced SRO Course (24 hours of instruction): advances the SRO’s knowledge and skills as a law enforcement officer, informal counselor, and educator.
