INTRODUCTIONMicrosoftOutlookemailclientapplicationisaleadingemailandcollaborationtoolfromMicrosoftCorporation.As anOutlook user youwould already be aware thatMicrosoftoffice application and most of similar office applications requires extensive use ofkeyboard.However, it tend tobeveryannoyingwhenyoumust takeyourhandsoff thekeyboardandperformsomeverytrivialjobsuchasclickReply,Forward,checkingnewemails,insertingattachments,sendingemail,andsoon.Moreover,ifyouneedtoworkonalargenumberofemailsitcouldbeaveryfrustratingexperienceattimes.
However,notmanyofusknowthatanumberofapplicationsonWindowsplatformcomewithabunchofshortcuts thatmaybeused to invokeafunctionalityor features insuchapplication.Microsoft Outlook 2013 alone has more than 300 shortcut key sequences.These shortcuts are hardly known to an average email user. It would not be anexaggerationtostatethatnotmorethan5%ofoutlookuserbasecanreallyclaimthattheyknowtheapplicationintruesenseoftheterm.
This reference guide contains all the shortcuts discovered,whichmay ormay not havebeendocumented.Knowingandusing theseshortcutscanmakeyouaproOutlookuserbeyondalldoubts.
Iwouldliketostateitcategoricallyherethat,tousetheMicrosoftOutlookapplicationitisnot at a requirement to know any particular shortcut key.
