PIR technology ensures that only warm, moving bodies trigger the detection.

The MicroRAD is a passive infrared motion detector suitable for indoor use which can be installed on an even surface or in a corner. It should be positioned in such a way that the person triggering the sensor is moving across the monitoring zone of the detector.
The range of detection is as follows:
• Detection range: 5 Meters • Horizontal coverage: 100° • Vertical coverage 82°
When installing and positioning the MicroRAD, consideration should be given to these parameters to eliminate unwanted triggering of the sensor. PIR technology will ensure that only warm moving bodies will trigger the sensor.
The MicroRAD has been designed to be as small as possible and measures less than 3.5cm in all directions. This offers the ultimate in discrete detection. It is as simple as possible to install and guarantees reliability and efficient onsite operation.
It can also be connected and used with the various models in the RSF ProDAP range including:
• The MicroDAP, OneDAP, Pilote, OneDVP-HD, ProDVP-HD2 and the MicroDVP-HD.

The MicroRAD is fitted with a 3.5mm jack connection which connects to a 3 port terminal block (supplied with the MicroRAD).
The connections of the terminal block are as follows:

The MicroRAD has a range of 5 meters, with a horizontal coverage of 100° and a vertical coverage of 82°. Care and attention should be taken when positioning the MicroRAD as to eliminate triggering by unwanted sources. It is also worth noting that the MicroRAD will not trigger through glass or similar materials.
