DESCRIPTION: Punch needle embroidery is a mini version to rugpunch. This craft spans century of history and sometimes it is referred toas Bunka or Igolochkoy, or Russian Punch Needle.The project is usually 4” x 5” and the tool used looks like an ink pen. The

base cloth is called Weavers Cloth, and embroidery floss is used to“punch” the image. These small projects go fast and are very addicting!

When finished, the pattern can be framed, used on purses or clothing,applied to boxes or other containers to give an extra element of design to

them. Bring sharp scissors and an Ott light.
