regarding SMART data and the management of Smart for Shops software. Responsible for providing on-site support for various tasks involving hazardous material and hazardous waste management. Provide support to all LABAT employees using Smart for Shops at various locations. Responsible for the testing of the Smart for Shops software prior to release to clients. Assisted the LABAT San Antonio staff with day-to-day computer and network problem solving.

Significant Accomplishments Assisted the Director of Information and Technology, in the development and testing of the LABAT

developed Smart for Shops software that is currently being used by three USAF Major Commands and over 33 installations.

Managed the Smart for Shops Help Desk providing support to over 33 System Administrators throughout the CONUS, Pacific Air Forces and Europe.

Managed all aspects of SMART data collection for 33 Air Force installations and collected and organized the data for presentation in their Pollution Prevention (P2) programs.

Assisted the AF-EMIS Hazwaste Module implementation effort at Yokota AB, Japan; used the Japanese Final Governing Standard to define over 150 recurring waste streams and provided training to two Japanese nationals on using the AF-EMIS Waste Module.

Conducted a Hazardous Material Management Business Practice Analysis at Kunsan AB, Republic of Korea; identified hazardous material management practice deficiencies and recommended corrective actions.

Supported the Air Education Training Command /Air National Guard Conference in Panama City that showcased the Smart for Shops software; collected feedback from installations that was used to improve and upgrade the software

Supported the Joint Service Pollution Prevention Conference in San Antonio, August 2003 by providing customer support at the LABAT booth; interacted with customers and provided support during the week long conference.

Produced quarterly reports for each AETC, PACAF, and USAFE installation using SMART data. Authored the user’s manual for MERLIN, the MSDS library system. Developed a marketing material for the Document Automated Routing Tool (DART).
