Mi Home Security Camera Connection Guide (iOS) 1. Navigate to the APP Store with your iPhone and search for ’Mi Home’, or scan the QR code below to download and install Mi Home APP. 2. Mi Home Security Camera Connection Guide

(iOS)

1. Navigate to the APP Store with your iPhone and search for ’Mi Home’, or scan the QR code below to download and install Mi Home APP.

2. Plug in the Mi Home Security Camera adapter, and connect to the power supply. Wait for the voice prompt ’Waiting

for connection.’ and for the LED light to flash yellow. 3. Open the Mi Home APP on your mobile phone, and log in to your account. Select ‘Add device’ or tap ‘+’ on the upper

right hand corner.

4. Select the Mi Home Security Camera from the list of devices. Before tapping Next, wait for the camera’s ’Waiting for

connection.’ voice prompt and for the LED light to flash yellow. If you are connecting for the first time, there is no need to use a pin to reset the camera. If the camera has previously been configured, you will need to insert a pin into the Reset hole and press this inward for 5 seconds until the light turns yellow, and you will hear the ’Waiting for

5. Select the Wi-Fi network that you want to connect to, tap ‘Switch Wi-Fi networks’ to enter the phone’s Wi-Fi connection screen; first allow the phone to connect to the corresponding wireless network, then tap the top left-hand corner of the screen to return to the Mi Home APP main screen, select this network and enter the password. It is recommended to use 5 GHz, and public networks are not supported; the use of non-encrypted networks is not recommended.

6. Tap Next; when a QR code appears on screen, position the mobile phone screen in front of the camera lens to scan

the QR code. Ensure that the QR code on the mobile phone is approximately a mobile phone’s length away from the camera lens. If you have trouble scanning the code, gently move the mobile phone back and forth until scanning is successful. When scanning is successful, you will hear a “ping”, and the voice prompt ’Connecting, please wait.’.

7. You can also connect the camera via Bluetooth. On the Add devices screen, tap ‘Add Bluetooth device’, wait a moment for the phone to find the device, and connect. Try again if the device cannot be found.

8. Either of these methods can be used to connect. Once successfully connected, the LED will light in blue, and you will hear the successful connection voice prompt: ’Connection to WiFi completed. Pairing to account completed, device online’.

9. After connecting, the device will be listed by default in the Default room of Mi Home APP; you can also opt to move the device to the main screen. Tap the Mi Home Security Camera and agree to the privacy policy to use the camera.

10. Use your mobile phone to search for Mi Home APP on Google Play or scan the QR code below to download and install Mi Home APP.

11. Plug in the Mi Home Security Camera adapter, and connect to the power supply. Wait for the voice prompt ’Waiting

for connection.’ and for the LED light to flash yellow.

12. Open the Mi Home APP, and log in to your account. Select ‘Add device’ or tap ‘+’ on the upper right hand corner. Note: If you are turning on your camera for the first time, the Mi Home APP will automatically search for available devices automatically. You can also tap on ’Scan’ to search for available devices manually.

13. Tap Next, and the app will automatically search for available devices. If none are found, tap ‘Add manually’, and select

the Mi Home Security Camera.

14. Select the Mi Home Security Camera from the list of devices. Before tapping Next, wait for the camera’s ’Waiting for
