· New user requires a MFT account via ServiceDesk request

· No additional approval is required (preapproved change)

· ServiceDesk Operator assignes this user to the relevant AD Group:

· AD EMEA: EMEA MFT Users· AD APAC: APAC MFT Users· AD NASA: NASA MFT Users· ServiceDesk Operator checks

that email of the new MFT users in AD record is filled in

AD GPO Policy is applied(permit for auto installation of

MFT ActiveX components)

· Every night one-way synchronization of new MFT users between AD and MFT servers

· „welcome“ email to the new MFT users is send out and contains all the neccessary information

Regular file transfers required

· Internal user („sponsor“) requires a new MFT account for an external user

· No additional approval is required

· ServiceDesk Operator connects directly to the MFT server and creates the required account

· Email with credentials is send out directly to the external user, copy to „sponsor“

· All neccessary information is included in this email
