METHODOLOGY In the first part of the experiment, we determined the mass of a 50-ml beaker, crucible, and salt (NaCl). First, we determined the mass of the 50-mL beaker into two ways. We placed the beaker using the crucible tongs and removed it using our bare hands then reweighed it again. Second, we determined the mass of the crucible after we weighed and got the difference of the mass of the crucible and cover and the mass of crucible only. Next, we determined the mass of NaCl. There are two values of the mass of salt we got. The first value we got after weighing was from the difference of mass of beaker with NaCl and mass of dry beaker. The second value was from the difference of mass of dry beaker and the bottle without NaCl. Lastly, we determined the mass of the water. There are also two values of mass of the water we got. The first value was from the difference of mass of beaker with NaCl and water and mass of beaker with NaCl. The second value was from the difference of mass of dry beaker and mass of wash bottle minus 10mL. In the second part of the experiment, we determined the difference of drop/s of water rapidly and individually. The first thing we did was to weigh the 50-mL beaker with 20mL of water and medicine dropper. We determined how much water was remained after 10 drops of water was transferred to another beaker, individually and in succession.
