MPOC (Meteorology, Physical Oceanography and Climate)

Research master 2 years (English) ~20 students/year

Approach: Physical and chemical understanding of the climate system through:

- quantitative data interpretation - theoretical analysis - numerical modelling

Admission: Bachelor degree in Physics or MPOC related, in a broad sense,

but enough background in mathematics and physics

Start in: September or February

MPOC (Meteorology, Physical Oceanography and Climate)

Contents:

1st year - Courses

Courses 60 ECTS 3 or 4 (22.5 or 30 ects) are compulsory

2nd year - Research

Two project courses 15 ECTS Thesis 45 ECTS

•  1 ECTS ~ 32 hrs •  60 ECTS/yr ~ 40 hr/wk
