Metalicone was established in 1992 by Mr. Stef Wertheimer of the ISCAR Group (a Berkshire Hathaway company). Within the last three decades, Metalicone has perfected the art of precision down to a single micron (0.001 mm) and established itself as a leading manufacturer of high-quality, machined metal parts and assemblies. Metalicone serves a range of end markets, including machine tools, commercial printing, aerospace, semiconductor (manufacturing and quality control equipment), tooling fixtures & dies, and others. In these complex industries where no room for error exists, customers place their trust in Metalicone due to the company’s wealth of knowledge, proven reliability, and utmost precision in all of their products. A team of 180 employees is based in a 5,500 square meter plant in Israel and in a 1,600 square meter plant in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, operated by its subsidiary Metalicone GmbH.

Due to its superior and absolute quality standards, Metalicone was awarded the “Platinum Mark” certificate.

Human Capital: To foster a cohesive environment of innovation and teamwork, Metalicone constantly invests in welfare activities and the technical and professional knowledge of its employees.

About Metalicone

As a strategic supplier for leading machine tool manufacturers (both OEMs and Tier-1 subsystems suppliers), Metalicone specializes in manufacturing reliable cylindrical and rotating parts – specifically spindle components. Their proprietary surface treatment enhances visual appearance, wear resistance and a lower friction coefficient – highly desired qualities in some machine tool components. Metalicone typically processes high mix/low volume (HMLV) orders and is capable of manufacturing a range of quantities from prototypes and single units to serial production lots of up to 1000 pieces.

Metalicone produces hydraulic blocks and manifolds for the aerospace and heavy machinery industries, as well as impellers for a variety of turbines. Metalicone’s complex milled parts are made from easily machinable metals such as aluminum, or more complicated metals to machine such as titanium, stainless steel and high nickel alloys. The company offers a range of thermal and surface treatments in line with its customers’ requirements. The use of simultaneous 5-axis high-speed cutting (HSC) technology enables rapid processing of complex shaped products on five sides in a single setup.

Complex Profile HSC

Metalicone services the jet engine turbine blades manufacturing industry in the production of forging dies, punches, die sets, trimming dies, jigs, encapsulation fixtures, gauges, and other tooling used in manufacturing processes. Metalicone ensures superior precision parts produced from a wide spectrum of materials that range from 55 RC hardness and up to 72 RC nitrated steel, aluminum, titanium stainless steel and other specialty alloys.

Sub-System AssembliesMetalicone utilizes its advanced logistical capabilities and unsurpassed expertise to supply precision mechanical sub-systems, based on self-made precision parts and procured components, in the areas of commercial printing, semiconductors and machine tools. Metalicone’s extensive experience in the production of complex sub-assemblies includes items with more than 300 components.
