Usually, when people think metal, they think Metallica, Iron Maiden, or more rarely Megadeth, which is technically correct. But there's much more to metal than those three bands, and they are only a few that are merely the most famous and easy to "get into". People also often don't even differentiate rock music, hard-rock and metal. They think it's all the same, with aggressive drumming, powerful guitar sound and "growly" (usually called harsh vocals, as opposed to clean singing which is also incorporated in some subgenres of metal).So, today I'm going to tell you about the vast, versatile, and kind of controversial type of music- heavy metal music.
