Message from the President

Welcome to all!

I am very pleased to welcome one and all to the annual Carleton Coun-ty Music Festival. I know you will enjoy any of the wonderful classes that you may attend, be it either junior or senior piano, vocals, school choirs or bands, strings or brass, or musical theatre. There’s something for everyone’s interest. All of the competitors and their music teachers have worked very hard the last few months in order to showcase their talents. We hope that everyone has a positive and encouraging experience.

I would like to thank all of our volunteers and committee members who give so generously of their time to ensure that the festival runs like a well oiled machine. Thanks also goes out to everyone who has contrib-uted funds or gifts in kind. Your generosity assists the festival in provid-ing excellent adjudicators and certificates, medals and monetary awards for the competitors. Please join us for our final concert May 1st, 7p.m. at the McCain Theatre at Woodstock High School. It is a wonderful show-case of many of the talented musicians from the festival.

Yours in music,Linda MacFarlanePresident CCMF Committee members Linda Macfarlane, President Beth Tait, Executive Director Susan Seifelnasr, Secretary Will Davidson, Venue Liaison
