The Club’s Mission
To develop civic non-commercial wireless networks and share knowledge and experience for communities.
What is “mesh network”?
– It is decentralized wireless network with dynamic architecture, where every node can have different roles, and the network infrastructure is in its creators possession.
Why does the Falanster deal with it?
– Today Net (i.e. Internet) is very centralized.
– The situation allows to control and censor civic information and communication as by providers (ISP) as by states.
– We understand necessity that the network infrastructure is in users’ ownership.
– It enforces and fosters different communities and keep their freedoms.
