Message from Chapter Director/Ride Coordinator
Here we are in the start and middle of winter with some snow and cold weather which
being in a Goldwing club makes for a long couple of months when you can see the
bikes, but with the weather like it is, they are just sitting there. Now would be a chance
if you have the location and the means to do so would be to go over your bike and repair
and fix anything that might need some attention and have it ready to go for next spring,
and maybe add a few of those extra addon’s that you might have been wishing for.
(Remember with Christmas coming up and if there just happens to be some of those
extra addon’s under the “Christmas tree” from “Santa Claus” the spouse or other half
can’t really say anything)
For me at the highway district I’m just waiting for more snow to plow and with all the
basketball games between the two schools about every night I have something to do at
least.
On December the 7th, 2019 we had our annual Christmas party which I had a great time,
there was a lot of delicious and wonderful food brought from everyone (thank you), and
the gift exchange was really fun and thanks to Kelly Andersen for being the leader for
the game, and we really had an excellent turnout ( I believe if I counted right 27 Adults
and 6 Kids)
We had several awards and presentations that were handed out. Lyle and Janet Towne
for the new Chapter Director position, Richard “Dick” Goetsch a pin for the Assistant
Chapter Director, and a certificate to Delores Silcott, Chapter Treasurer, thank you Dick
and Delores. The Individual of the Year award went to Jim Peterson.
