The grapes were planted on the lower mountain slopes in deep Karoo soils that are rich in natural lime. This Merlot is rich, dark red in colour with ripe punchy plum flavours, sweet black cherry and a smooth velvet finish. Delicate wood integration does not mask the delicious ripe fruit of this wine.
