    From the Editor’s Desk ....

I am feeling proud to tell you all that we have completed another version of

tattwadarshi, named as “YOUTH....power to empower” and feeling lucky to be

a part of tattwadarshi team, as an English editor.

Engineering is totally a different stream, it is a technical education to keep the

student attached to their creativities, Tattwadarshi is a great platform. It gives

the sea of opportunities for the students who are really passionate about their

non-technical hobbies. It contains technical section too.

This year we have received outstanding response from the student from all

departments; I appreciate the response and hope for the best. All we know that

young generation is a pillar of tomorrow‘s nation so we are trying to focus on

youth, to inspire them for the welfare of society .Youth has a power they can

    empower other too.

The response from the student is really very great while collecting the material.

Students have not only given articles but also have given the poem and

sketches. It is only because of our student’s creative mind and hard work that

our magazine has became so beautiful.

I am very thankful to Hon’ble Principal Dr. S. B. Somani sir for his support and

Youth! Arise, Awake And Know Your Strength...

“Stand and die in your strength if there is any sin in the world, it is weakness; for weakness is

sin, weakness is death.”- Swami Vivekananda

Youths have desire to cherish high ideals, to reach great heights in life, to come out with flying

colours in all one’s endeavours, to attain the desired goal, even after facing mighty obstacles.

This ambition is really wonderful, marvellous; a sign of real youth, without that life is

meaningless, useless and monotonous. Youth must always look forward. Stagnant life is assign

of death. ‘Go forward, go forward, go forward – never look back even for a moment.’ Nothing

to despair, nothing to lower your spirit, you have within you that power, that infinite strength to

reach your goal and create your own destiny.

Physical growth alone is not a sign of real youth. There hundreds and thousands of such young

men/women whose faces do not reflect the qualities that every youth possess. Will you call

him/her a youth who is chicken-hearted with pale face, sickly in appearance, undisciplined

sense, restless mind, dull intellect and have laziness? Never! The young, the energetic, the

strong, the well-built, the intellect for them is the task. Development of these qualities will

certainly transform so called young in to real youth. Youth must work-out the whole problem

like lion. Many youth who fought for the freedom of the country were real lions; to mentions

few names- (Netajee) Subhash Chandra Bose, (Lokmanya) Bal Gangadhar Tilak and (Mahatma)

    Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.

Apart from this, a person with a hundred soaring visions, heart soaked in affection, intellect

razor-sharp, courage boundless, and enthusiasm irrepressible – Swami Vivekananda. His life

and his teachings are perennial source of inspiration. Every year we celebrate his birth day – 12th

    January as National Youth Day.

For the youth to rebuild India, we should expose them to positive methods of learning and

provide them true education. Swami Vivekananda said, “We want the education by which

character is formed, strength of mind increased, the intellect is expanded and by which one can

    stand on one’s own feet.”

In the changing scenario, youths are facing enormous problem. Everyone wants them to the best

in every field. Pressure of expectations is mounting on them day by day. Nobody has

sympathetic view for them. They are facing cut throat competition. On the other hand the

electronic media not only killing their time but also contaminating their minds with vulgarity

and obscenity. To face these challenges, it is obvious that youth needs to have tremendous

strength. It is said that, “All the power is within you, you can do anything; the fact is that you

must believe in yourselves” as the person who does not believe in himself/herself is true atheist.

Our country needs the muscles of iron and nerves of steel; gigantic will which nothing can resist,

which can penetrate into mysteries and secrets of universe and will accomplish their purpose in

any fashion even if it means going down to the bottom of the ocean and meeting death face to,

face. As a mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled, in the same way youth’s mind

is a spark which when fires then the whole world shines.

    Youth for Young India

The gentle push, the angry voice, the change makers, the burden bearers, all of these adjectives

fit the context perfectly when we talk about the youth. What makes youth so much important for

    India?

This can be simply understood by the fact that, ‘India is the only country in ageing world’. To

support this fact, I have report of Census 2011 which states that, close to 70% of Indian

population is aged less than 40 years and that too increasing at the rate of 2% per year. With this,

India is set to become world’s youngest country. Such huge young population is exception not

only for India but for whole world. It is this demographic dividend which will keep India young

for next 30 years. But if not properly used it may turn into demographic disaster.

The ‘world is changing’ is an understatement for ‘world is changing faster than ever’, truly sums

up the plight of every human in this fast paced world. As a human race we have come far, farther

than we could have ever imagined. It has been said that the history of the world is only the

history of a few great men. Likewise, today’s changes in society are akin to the growing and

emerging sensibilities of the youth. The youth today are a force to reckon with, a power which

    cannot be ignored.

Throughout history, young people have played an active role in shaping major social and

political advancements. Today’s growing globalization and create an environment, which is

increasingly diverse in terms of culture and religion. As they constitute the largest segment of

population, the role of youth in shaping country’s response to cultural and intellectual diversity

is vital. Young men and women in India have long enough been suppressed of having their say

in matters such as culture, tradition or governance, yet today we are witness to a surging new

wave called ‘protestism’. Indian youth today have become more sensitive than ever and are

constantly finding opportunities to express their disappointment with impractical norms of the

country through activism and protesting. Today in India, young people not only dream, but

adhere to practical ideals and constantly find ways to engage themselves in building a new

society replete with equality and social justice. This generation is here to stay, here to fight and

here to be heard. The media, the government, societal institutions etc. have all turned their

attention to the youth without whom they know they will bite the dust.

Times have changed. The beliefs, ideologies and activism of the youth have been recognized. As

young men and women of a fast-changing society, we do not need to depend on others or the

government for our voices to be heard. We become the voices of the unheard. We become the

loudspeakers of those in silent desperation. We express whatever we want, however we want

and whenever we want, because we have long realized that expression is one of the most

empowering acts in order to empower oneself and others as well. Our Facebook profiles, pages,

tweets, blogs, YouTube channels are mirrors of how much we see the need to express the long

silenced. We stand up for others at our own expense and recent examples for these are the Delhi

gang-rape protest, Rohit Vemula case etc.

This is about youth’s contribution for India but, what India has for its Youth?

India does sadly nothing for its Youth!

When it comes to making career choice, Indian parents can’t even break the age old stereotype.

In a bid to have protective future, parents are actually ruining their ward’s life. Everyone wants

to become either Engineer or Doctor. This is the main reason for most of India’s problem. Why

India can’t produce Nobel Laureates? That’s because we are losing interest in scientific

temperament. The enthusiasm among today’s youth is eloping somewhere leading to frustration

    and lack of zeal.

One more issue that I want to put here, come summer, the usual camps take place and parents

want kids off their backs or genuinely wish to enhance and upgrade their wards’ cultural

quotient but that’s possible in big-city India. What of non-metro India? Where does someone,

who wishes to spend quality time away from Facebook, TV, bars and cricket dens, go and spend

time? This will altogether turn into loneliness, rising boredom and resultant alcoholism and high

suicide rate. An average youth today is busy with survival, if not exams.

With optimistic viewpoint, I will conclude by quoting Dhirubhai Ambani’s word-

“Give The Youth A Proper Environment. Motivate Them. Extend Them The Support They

Need. Each One Of Them Has Infinite Source Of Energy. They Will Deliver.”

    Life is a game

    Life is a game,

    A game of chess

If you make a wrong move

    Your winning chances are less

    Life is so precious

    Life is so beautiful

    Life is a real game

    So make winning your aim.

Think about the move before you make it

Because you don’t want to suffer your whole life for it

Make sure you achieve your aim

Because then you can move on to next game

Think of the people who are waiting for your success

Cheering for you throughout the entire race

You don’t want to disappoint them and make them frown

So make sure that you will win and don’t make them look down

Win the game and make people behind you feel proud

For the support they give you by sticking around

Thank them for being there supporting you throughout the game

And be thankful to all people, who support you to reach your aim.

    Problems of 2017’s YOUTH…

    तरह त ह | तरह त त ह | ह ह त त ह ह ह ह त ह | "The Volcano"? Isn't it alternative for us? For youth? We are the ultimate power sources of our

country’s development and progress. And you know what? Only we are unaware of this fact.

May be only due to this reason we are not being able to achieve what we want as a country.

When I am saying the above, I am actually referencing to the following 2 facts:

    i. 50% of India’s population is below the age of 25.

ii. By 2020, 64% of India’s population will be in the working age group with the average

    age of 29 years.

Above 2 facts surely show the importance of “youth power” in India. We always see and listen

the various debates, seminars. We read the long articles from experts about youths, about their

way of working, about their weird habits. But have you ever observed? Very few of them talk

about the problems of youth. This article is about the same. About the little one but very

important topic related to youths of 2017.

After 10th or when you enter to your college life, you are started to be considered as a young

person who is capable of learning as well as fighting with outside world, who has curiosity and

the one who can even earn some money too. You may have still some more 'properties'. In short,

you are a YOUTH now. A responsible Youth!

When you enter this stage of life, expectations from you are increased 'exponentially'. But we

(youths) also have our own expectations and problems. We are very epic characters. We have

lots of types & subtypes within us on the basis of our problems, expectations, living style and

    many others.

We can see some major types: Youth of city and youth of rural area, college going youth,

college completed but still unemployed youth, unmarried youth, youth in relationships and still

many more. Every type has different problems and expectations.

The young ones in city are worrying due to heavy competition. Our dear 'so called' system

irritates them. Rural youth are also having near about same problems. They are also thinking

about their career now. They have to leave their beloved home in village and go to metros like

Mumbai in the search of bread and butter.

College going youths! They are really very unique. Their problems, expectations, thinking are

always out of the world and never ending too. "How to impress your crush" is the biggest

question in front of this type (I know it, because I too belong to this type). Unwanted family

matters, studies, placements and away going friends after college life are also some worry

    factors for them.

  • e-Tattwadarshi 2017

    SSGMCE, Shegaon Page 7

Unemployed youth have very serious problems, because they are aware of the fact " र ह त र ह ." They know the real meaning of this line. It's very hard time when your friends are earning money; some of them may be enjoying their marriage life too. But you just can't help

yourself. Because you are jobless na!

This is that time in your life when caste, creed and religion start to play an important role in your

life. They begin to impress and affect your thoughts. Our caste, religion starts to divide us.

When we are child, we are near about unaware of all this. But when we grow, we have to face

all this. Unfortunately, India had to suffer a lot due to this. But there's a ray of hope too. As a

today's generation youth, I can say happily that most of us are likely to unfollow this or simply

we don't believe in all this shits.

So this was a small try to identify the problems of today’s youth. At the end, 2 lines of the great

    Bhagat Singhji:

    त , ह ह अ र आ त र ह . Because for youths, country should be always first!

    Positive ticket for our youth

My community, like so many others, struggled with the number of calls for youth disturbance

and crime. The reactive approach to solving this problem was not working .kids saw us as the

‘hunter’. With that mindset ,the good kid shy away from us and the marginal kid turned it into a

game of ‘cat and mouse ’ to see how much they could get away with the before getting caught.

So I thought what if we flipped things around? What if we catch and rewards kids for doing

good things instead of focusing on only the negative things? What if we start handing out

positive Ticket instead of only violation or warning? Post-incident, corrective policing model the

results of the positive tickets program have been remarkable

Positive tickets are a great way for officer or community people to interact with children in a

positive way, It encourages good, law-aiding behaviour in youth; it steers them towards

activities that promote health and positive social interaction; and most importantly, it helps them

from trusting relationship with adults we care ‘positive Tickets’ can truly make a difference in

    the life of a child.

Therefore, creating opportunities to catch our youth doing something right, rather than catching

them doing something wrong, aloe us to develop positive relationship with our youth that will

encourage them to do the right reasons Indeed, any leaser can do this, truly speaks louder than

their words .In the end, it seems that kids behave about as well as we expect and rewards them

    to.

The purpose of positive ticket is simple building relationship with youth in your community by

catching them doing something good and rewarding them for it.

    Youth

More than 1 billion people on this planet are between the ages of 15 and 24. That’s about 1 in

    every five people.

Now imagine if this youth were worlds leader deciding their countries fates if they were calling

the shots of poverty alleviation and ending hanger and gender inequality. Is country’s youth

make up 30-50 percent of their country’s population? This is called the youth bulge and some

international development practitioners see this as a problem instead of an untapped opportunity.

Many youth around the world have grown up under the worst circumstances experiencing

conflict that has torn families apart and decimated communicates; or have withstand or survive

unspeakable violence. Even under extreme circumstances. Many of the world’s youth are doing

amazing things to make their communities and countries better.

The young women we spoke with have the power to change the world-they are identifying the

issues that hold back women, girls and families, and they are uniquely able to pinpoint the kinds

of policy and shifts in social relation that need to happen to make a real difference.

challenge we have freedom to choose how to react. Every decision that we make leads us down

a different road we will never come to exactly the same crossroads every decision that we make

Youth is gift of nature, but age is work of art

The greatest wealth and strength of any nation is its youth. The future of nation lies in a hand of

its posterity. The quality of its youth determines the kind of future, the nation will have.

Therefore, if we want to ensure a bright future for our country, we first need to strengthen and

empower our youth. The youth of any nation and society are its potential energy. They are the

powerhouse and storehouse of infinite energy. They are ones who are the pride of nation. Ti is

youth which brings the laurels to their country. The power of the youth can be sighted only by

mentioning a few names of which every single Indian is proud of, such as Sachin Tendulkar,

Vishwanathan Anand, Sania Mirza, Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupati, Sushmita Sen, P. V. Sindhu,

Saina Nehwal, etc. The very mention of these names fills the heart of an average Indian with

    pride.

These are only a few examples of all the sung and unsung heroes and heroines who have left

their imprints on the sands of time and have lead their country forward. In fact, we owe our

present to the youth of the previous generation who forsook everything even their lives for the

freedom of the motherland. Who can forget the great sacrifices of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru,

Sukhdev, Mangal Pandey, etc who surrendered their lives for their country.

Youth make up about 34% of total population of the country. This 34% constitutes for the

country’s future. If we can harness this powerhouse of the nation in the right direction then the

country can reach untold heights. All we need is to direct the energy of youths in constructive

channels that lead to development and progress. The creative potential of the younger generation

coupled with their zeal, enthusiasm, energy and versatility can work wonders for the country.

We need to empower our youth so that they can make a better tomorrow.

The best and first and foremost way to strengthen our youth are to provide them education. Not

just any kind of education, but right kind of education which makes them scientific, logical,

open-minded, self-respecting, responsible, honest and patriotic. Without these virtues being

developed, our youth cannot walk in the desired way and they will remain in a deep slumber of

    complacency.

Unless harnessed and trapped in the right way, this very energy of the youth can tip over the

other side and become destructive and dangerous for the society, crime is on high and violence

is increasing in today’s time. If we look at the data, we realize that our youth is losing tough

with a sense of right and wrong or good and bad. This is because as a nation, we have failed in

our duty of capturing their energy and molding it in the right direction. Due to increasing

unemployment, we have been unable to keep our youth busy in constructive works. We fail to

help them in realizing their dreams and hence they get lost and go in wrong direction as the

saying goes “An empty mind is the devil’s workshop”. We have failed poorly in this direction.

The result is that nothing inspires our youths except shortcuts to making money, to achieve

success and realizing dreams. We have failed to give them in right kind of opportunities.

Look at our own youth oversea as – working I wonders. Why can’t they do it here, in their own

country? The answer lies in the lack of opportunities which they find in plenty in other

countries. The loss is completely ours. A whole era of nation will, have a few years be empty of

its posterity as a result of this increasing tendency to go abroad and get settled called brain-drain

of the country. It is high time we present our youth from leaving the country or giving violence

and terrorism by providing them better options, by strengthening them, by empowering them.

Let us focus on constructively using the power of youth for the betterment of the nation. Let us

frame such policies which aims at empowering our youth so that assumed of a better future and

    brighter tomorrow.

    Celebrating life

We celebrate Diwali, Holi and all other religious festivals. We do celebrate Independence day,

Republic day and all other days. But do we really celebrate life.

Our aspirations are taking us higher places. In the race to success, the efforts for brighter future,

we are too busy chasing our dreams that we have taken our life as granted. There is the pressure

to be winning and then the stress to be the top most. In the pursuit, the youth is fallen prey of

addiction. Have we forgotten that human life is a reward, should be lived to the fullest?

To break free the shackles of constant hassles, the gift of happiness should be explored. The

mankind has been awarded the expression of feelings and the blessings of companionship. The

need is to live in the moment and enjoy it. Time with dear ones, a smile from a friend, and a

chirpy bird on a tree are going to heal your heart. Search for the joy that satisfies your soul and

fills your heart with love and mercy. Expand your heart to embrace the nature, the universe and

you will celebrate life to the fullest.

The inquisition lies in comparison of success to material wealth. Material accomplishment won’t

bear you the fruit of happiness. John Keats found joy in beauty of words and emotions. Gandhiji

found God in the light of truth. Einstein celebrated his achievements in ‘Ureka’.

Believe in life and let your efforts surge and drive them for the betterment of the society. Then

the success will be so joyous and life will be a celebration.

    ‘’Worship life to celebrate life,

    Only sweat tests sweet”

    Youth: Power to Empower

"Youth: Power to Empower" is a motivational theme. Youth power has become more and more

important for personal and social development of young people. The youth is the main force

responsible for the development of nation. Before empowering others a youth has to be

    empowered and competent.

The greatest wealth and strength of any nation is its youth. The future of a nation lies in the

hands of its youth. The quality of its youth determines the kind of future, the nation will have.

Therefore, if we want to ensure a bright future for our country, we first need to strengthen and

empower our youth. The youth of any nation and society are its potential energy. They are the

powerhouse and storehouse of infinite energy. They are the ones who are the pride of the nation.

It is the youth which brings laurels to their country.

Youth make up about one third of the total population of India. This constitutes for the country’s

future. If we can harness this powerhouse of the nation in the right direction then the country can

reach untold heights. All we need is to direct the energy of our youth in constructive channels

that lead to development and progress. The creative potential of the younger generation coupled

with their zeal, enthusiasm, energy and versatility can work wonders for the country. We need to

empower our youth so that they can make a better tomorrow.

Swami Vivekananda believed that working for any social change required massive energy and

spirit. Hence, he requested the youth to amplify both their mental energies and physical fitness.

What Vivekananda wanted from the youth were ‘muscles of iron’ and ‘nerves of steel’. Today,

the youth are exceptionally responsive and they just need to be encouraged in their quest for

justice for common benefit. Swami Vivekananda was and is not only the medium; he is himself

the message as well for the youth of India.
