Vice –Chair Report
Hello members,
You will notice our title has changed from
President to Chairperson to align with the new
Department of Commerce guidelines.
Maybe this is indicative of changes many of us
are undergoing with the planet of change
Uranus now moving steadily forward in
Taurus.
Those of us who have earth in our charts are prepared to move in new
directions.I have reduced my lecturing to part time and am investigating
different avenues in line with this. I recall the midlife transit of Uranus
reflecting chaos in my life so I am now better prepared to be flexible!
In addition to the great line up of speakers this year we have also now added
Peter Burns who will speak on Solar transits on August 4th. Peter previously
lived in Perth so many of you may know him. As he now lives in Victoria we
will use an online platform for this talk.
Currently NSW are trialing these and the “Go to Meetings” and “Zoom”
are two to enable speakers around Australia to literally come into our
meeting space.
Our last speaker was our wonderful Jeannette Lewis Hill who as always
presented another very well researched talk; this time on “The Twelve Tribes”
and introducing us to their method of chanting in order to raise the energy in
the known world and therefore keeping the land peaceful. Each tribe would
take on this very important task for one month at a time chanting in turn for
24 hours of every day.
It soon became apparent that the number twelve was pivotal in the Ancient
World and is still very much with us today in the form of the Sacred Geometry
and mathematics of our beautiful soaring cathedrals as yet proudly standing.
We meandered over Ley Lines and high mountain ranges creating energy and
learnt of some interesting ancient places and artifacts discovered along their
paths, not least of all “the Dead Sea Scrolls”.
Best wishes and endurance for those affected by the ever closer Pluto and
Saturn conjunction
Kind regards
Margie Crocker

Karmic Astrologer Rick Boyd presents. . .
… a very different view on Astrology by famous American clairvoyant Edgar Cyce, known as the
Sleeping Prophet and Father of Holistic Medicine.
In a sleeping trance state, Cayce gave over 18,000
readings on a range of esoteric subjects including
health, reincarnation, Atlantis, and more than 1500
on Astrology. However, you will find that the
astrological perspectives given to Cayce in trance
were quite unusual.
Cayce considered that a person’s current life purpose
was explained by the “soujourns” or past lives spent
at differing dimentional vibrations represented by
the planets in their horoscope.
Rick will explain what plentary energies in your horoscope mean for your current life according to
Cayce’s teachings, along with other astrological revelations given to Cayce in trance such as the
birth chart of Jesus Christ.

Joy Usher … Experiencing Life Through the Four Angles
Meeting the Cross of Matter and understanding its significance – the Ascendant and Descendant,
the Midheaven and the opposite point of the nadir – is one of the most exciting experiences for any
young astrologer starting out on their journey of knowledge. Luckily, the ancients felt exactly the
same way.
Marcus Manilius wrote in the first century C.E.:
“Come now, prepare an attentive mind for learning the cardinal points: four in all, they have
positions in the firmament permanently fixed and receive in succession the speeding signs.”
This workshop revisits each of the four angles and looks at their role as the ‘skeleton of the chart’.
Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of the title, or by the misguided belief that you know everything
there is to know about the angles.
“These points are charged with exceptional powers, and the influence they exert on fate is the
greatest known to our science, because the celestial circle is totally held in position by them as by
eternal supports.”
If Manilius places so much importance on these four ‘power points’, then maybe we need to look a
little closer at the pillars of the four quadrants, and examine in greater depth the impact for each of
the planets when they rule the Cross of Matter in any given chart.
Joy says that in the angles workshop we can play with several levels depending on the audience's
experiences, skills and expectations on the day. It's a fun workshop and should cater to most
astrologers from beginner to advanced. … Joy

with her colleague Mari Garcia. [Mari will be coming west in 2020] The pair

Joy is a diligent researcher and gifted teacher and writer. The presentation on
angles is an extended version of one of AstroMundi’s master classes – which are also online and
