A quarryman is a person that works stones.

He use tools made of wood and iron, wedges of iron, mallets, levers to extract blocks from stones, etc...

It starts very early.

They could stop three times to eat. The breakfast, the lunch and the afternoon snack.

They earn 28 euros a the day. They work in quarries. Yes, they work in

the open air. Each owner has his employees.

They liked  their work. He was useful because they could make this constructions.

The quarryman were a world aside. They had a lot of mobility, always in the search of work. They used to mark the stones that worked in order to control their work.

Their customers were the persons nearer to the gizzards, who neededstone to make some constructions.

The day of work followed a different

rhythm, it lasted from sunrise to sunset.

There weren’t clocks and they worked until the sun lasted.

It was hard work, because they worked many hours, only with three stops and it was a work of a lot of effort.

They charged for daily day's wage, according to the work also they could charge for produced piece. The quarryman who worked in the quarry could have a compensation it would nourish.

No, because it wasn’t well seen that a woman did this kind of work.
