Welcome to the heart of Lucerne's old town! The Des Alpes is one of the oldest
houses by the river, whose history goes back to the 13th century. The unique location
directly at the Kapellbrücke, with a view of mount Pilatus and the Jesuiten church
makes our house definitely worth a visit. Whether it is on our river front terrace, the
newly renovated restaurant with a timelessly beautiful bar in a historic setting, the
unique balcony on the first floor or the beautiful art nouveau banquet rooms,
we are Lucerne's meeting point for connoisseurs - just good!

... or the big banquet room. From 1706 to 1798, the Des Alpes was the seat of the
Lucerne Tourist Office. In 1907, Caspar Troxler acquired the Hotel Des Alpes and
established this art nouveau room. The unique view of the Chapel Bridge, the Pilatus
and the Jesuit church makes your event a success!

RESTAURANT DES ALPES
During the renovation in spring 2016 the old elements of the room were made visible
again. In combination with a lot of walnut, stone and timeless design, the restaurant
radiates a modern and cozy atmosphere.
ROOF TOP TERRACE
Enjoy the spectacular view over the whole city! We would be pleased to serve your
guests the aperitif on our unique roof top terrace.

ABOUT THE MENU SUGGESTIONS
The following menus and dishes are served by the chef and can be ordered
uniformly from 10 people. Any special wishes such as a vegetarian version of the
menu, special menus for allergy sufferers or just childrens' portions will be taken into
consideration. Please give us the final number of guests at least 24 hours before the
event. The final number will be used to charge the menu.
The prices are in Swiss Francs, include the service and VAT.
Our meat is, unless otherwise stated, from Switzerland. We make it a point to make as
ecological purchases as possible with fresh products from the region.
