Summary
A girl named Chiyo who grew up in a fishing village is sold to an Okiya and a bustling city, or a geisha house. She causes trouble the few days she stayed there,and it is decided that she will stay as a servant forever instead of becoming a geisha. Another geisha named Hatsumomo, continually brings down all of her dreams until another famous geisha, named Mameha, decides to take her as a younger sister, and all the while, Chiyo falls in love with a man. In her long conquest to become a geisha, Sayuri has one main goal: to bring down Hatsumomo.
G is for Gion
Gion is the city where Sayuri became a geisha and where most of the most emotional occurances happened in her life.
