RE: Official Statement Regarding System Error

Greetings!

It has come to our attention that a few system errors resulted to exclusion and wrong mapping

of a few candidates’ names. In particular, these errors affected the following positions:

(a) 3 SOSS Central Board Representative

(b) 4 BS CH Course Representative

To address the problem, we issued hard ballots for incoming 3 SOSS and 4 BS CH students.

The Commission and the programmer are already fixing these errors. We will inform the public as

soon as these issues are resolved. Rest assured that the votes were properly accounted for.

Moreover, we apologize for not including the political party affiliation beside the candidates’

names. The Commission was not able to instruct the system developer to include the party names. As

per advice of the programmer, editing the names is tedious and may cause other errors. We take note

of this and will be taken into account for the next elections.
