• Attending weekly club meetings allows– members to enjoy fellowship, – enrich their professional and personal knowledge,– meet other business leaders in their community.

• Miss a meeting, make up– by attending a meeting of any other Rotary club in

the world.

Make up missed meetings• Must attend or make up at least 50 percent of

regular club meetings in each half of the year – (though some clubs may have more stringent

requirements).

• Made up within 14 days of a regular meeting. – If traveling, visit clubs in the new area

• One option – counts as make up– attend a regular meeting of a local Rotaract club,

Interact club, Rotary Community Corps or Rotary Fellowship.

Avenues of Service• Club Service

– strengthening fellowship and ensuring the club’s effective functioning.

• Vocational Service – encourages Rotarians to serve others through their vocations and to practice high

ethical standards.

• Community Service – covers the projects and activities the club undertakes to improve life in its

community.

• International Service – expand Rotary’s humanitarian reach around the globe and to promote world

understanding and peace.

• Youth Service – recognizes the positive change implemented by youth and young adults through

leadership development activities, service projects, and exchange programs.

Dues• Club members are required to pay annual dues :• 2013-2014 Annual Due

– Rotary International per capita dues - US$ 53 (HK$ 413.40)– District 3450 - HK$ 1,725 (Hong Kong)

- HK$ 1,320 (Macau)- HK$ 1,100 (E-Club)- HK$ 388 (Mongolia)

– the subscription fee to the Rotary magazine – The Rotarian – US$ 24 (HK$187)

– Rotary Council on Legislation - US$2 (HK$16)– Total HK$ 2,341.40 per year (Hong Kong)– PLUS Your Club Due

– Conducts activities associated with the effective operation of the club, such as the weekly program and the club bulletin.

– Provide the public with information about Rotary and promotes the club’s service projects and activities.
