Membership categories

1. General Membership

This category shall comprise of German Companies, Pakistani Companies, German joint venture

companies duly registered with the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan and/or the State

Bank of Pakistan. Membership criteria for the said class is as under:

- Pakistani Enterprises having PKR 200 Million and above declared turnover

- German Enterprises having worldwide PKR 200 Million and above declared turnover

- Multinational Companies having a global presence

This class of member will have (10) Positions in the Board of Directors of the Company, through its

representatives and shall have the right to vote at general meeting for the same category and

stand for any office of the Association.

2. Associate Membership

This category shall comprise of trading partners, i.e. importers/exporters of items being traded to

Germany or from Germany to Pakistan. Membership criteria for the said class is as under:

- Pakistani Enterprises having declared turnover less than PKR 200 Million

- German Enterprises having declared turnover less than PKR 200 Million

This class of member will have (03) Positions in the Board of Directors of the Company, through its

representatives and shall have the right to vote at general meeting for the same category and

stand for any office of the Association.

3. Individual membership

This category shall comprise of natural persons, enterprises and organizations private or public with

a declared turnover less than PKR 50 Million, it shall also include German Startups in Pakistan.

This class of member will have (01) Position in the Board of Directors of the Company, through its

representatives and shall have the right to vote at general meeting for the same category and stand

for any office of the Association

Any companies with a turnover less that PKR 50 Million is part of this category with annual fee

of RS. 25,000 and a one-time registration fee of RS 15,000.

Membership Information 1. The application for seeking membership of the

company shall be required to be seconded by anexisting member where-upon the board ofdirectors shall decide the matter of his admissionas member or otherwise within three months ofmaking of such application.

2. The Board shall subject to the Articles, accept orreject any application for admission tomembership by 2/3 vote of the board of directors.The Board’s decision shall be final and it shall notbe liable to give any reasons thereof.

3. The yearly membership runs on the financial year.For the first 6 months full amount is required, forthe second 6 months of the calendar year half theamount is due.

4. The membership is automatically renewed for thefollowing year.

5. Change in the contact person or address details shall be communicated immediately to GPCCI team.

6. Members mailing list: in case you wouldlike to add further staff members to the mailing list in order to receive information about events and activities, kindly provide us with their names, designation and email addresses.

7. The membership application has to besigned by an authorized signatory of the company.
