The Club’s dress standards will be strictly enforced throughout the Racing Season. To avoid inconvenience on raceday, please ensure that your attire, and that of your guests, is appropriate for the Members’ Enclosure. Not withstanding the dress standards outlined, the Club reserves the right to refuse entry to any person considered inappropriately attired. LADIES (including children 12 and over) Ladies are expected to maintain a suitable standard in keeping with the dignity of the Members’ Enclosure. Younger children accompanied by an adult must be suitably attired. Overseas visitors are welcome to wear the formal National Dress of their country. NOT ACCEPTABLE – LADIES Any form of the following footwear; joggers, sports shoes, track shoes, runners, thongs, dilapidated footwear, scuffs, gumboots or slippers – a shoe is considered a thong if it has two straps which connect in between the first and second toes Jeans, jodhpurs, tracksuits, leather pants or untailored pants • Shorts Pants tucked into socks or footwear Torn or ripped clothing even if considered ‘designer’ tears • Garments which show midriff Leggings worn as pants. Footless tights acceptable if suitable dress worn over the top Parkas, duffle coats, windbreakers, tracksuit tops, golf and yachting weatherproofs, denim jackets, casual or untailored leather jackets, anoraks and driza bone jackets • Shorts jumpsuits/playsuits • Strictly no denim Dress regulations must be adhered to whilst in the Members’ Enclosure. MEMBERS’ ENCLOSURE DRESS REGULATIONSGENTLEMEN (including children 12 and over)Are required to wear a suit, of tailored slacks (tailored chinos acceptable), sports coat or blazer, plus tie or bow tie and dress shoes. During the period between 1 December and 31 March coats may be removed. Overseas visitors are welcome to wear the formal National Dress of their country.

NOT ACCEPTABLE – GENTLEMEN• Any form of the following footwear;

joggers, sports shoes, track shoes, runners, sandals, thongs, dilapidated footwear, scuffs, gumboots or slippers

• Shoes without socks• Jeans, jodhpurs, shorts, untailored slacks or

cargo pants• Torn or ripped clothing even if considered

‘designer’ tears• Open-neck shirts or shirts with no collar• Parkas, duffle coats, windbreakers, tracksuit

tops, golf and yachting weatherproofs, waist length jackets including bomber jackets, denim jackets, casual or untailored leather jackets, anoraks and driza bone jackets

• Safari suits, bright/fluorescent coloured suits, tracksuits

• Peaked caps, beanies• Pullovers or cardigans (without a jacket),

rugby tops and football guernseys, even if wearing a tie

• Cravats • Strictly no denim

Dress regulations must be adhered to whilst in the Members’ Enclosure.

MEMBERS’ GUESTSMembers are reminded of their responsibility for ensuring the attire of guests introduced into the Members’ Enclosure conforms to the required standard.
