Switch Rows/Columns Function• Function available in Chart Data spreadsheet• Works for all Marimekko, Stacked Bar, Cascade, Area and Line Charts

• Treats rows in spreadsheet as bars and columns as series

• Use cases:• Quickly see what chart looks like with bars/series reversed• When used with Link to Excel, Excel data range can have

rows/columns reversed and chart will still update correctly when Excel data changes

• Note: Chart data spreadsheet is unchanged when rows/columns switched• To reverse data in spreadsheet, use Paste Special Transpose

Legend Placement Improvements• Function available in Format section of Ribbon and in

Format Legend Task Pane• Works for all charts, except Gantt• Can easily move legend to:

• Bottom of chart• Top of chart• Right of chart• Align legend with CAGR column• Drag legend to custom position

• Resize legend box to make legend multiple rows or columns

• Use cases:• Longer series names or many small segments• Move legend to fit in white space of chart

Show Segment Value & Percent Function

• Function available in Labels section of Ribbon and in Format Chart Task Pane

• Works for all charts, except Gantt• Most useful for bar and cascade charts

• Show segment value and/or segment percent• Calculate percentage based on total or custom value for

each bar• Place value and percent on new separate lines

• Use cases:• Show value and percent for each market segment• Show percent of target and instead of percent of bar total
