• These are my learning needs for tearm 2.

• During Term 1 we have been exploring the

program Microsoft publisher to design and

produce a variety of products.

• I used a brochure to produce a blank

template of all the cyber saftey. The next

slide shows what I created

• Scratch is a new programming language that makes it easy to create interactive stories, games, andanimations. With Scratch, you can create characters that dance, sing, and interact with oneanother. Or create images that whirl, spin, and animate in response to movements of the mouse.

• I was given a number of sessions to explore the program and its possibilities. I worked my waythrough a series of teaching cards and a beginner’s booklet which assisted in developing the

necessary knowledge and skills required.

• Creating a Scratch project requires thinking of an idea, then figuring out how to break the probleminto steps and implement them using Scratch programming blocks. Throughout the design process,I engage in experimenting and interactive problem-solving. I was challenged along the way. Takingan idea and figuring out how to program it in Scratch requires persistence and practice.

I was required to:

1. Plan a short game, story or animation and were required to document details2. Use the program to create an interactive game, story or animation using the programming

blocks to create the scripts for each sprite.
