zones; second, in the convenient accessdriveway reaching all floors, enabling driversto quickly reach the top zone in only threeloops; and third, the mall’s ultimate connectivitywith the outside environment through its L5and Beehive Atriums, both incorporating six-storey glass curtain wall allowing natural lightto flood into the building and giving shoppersscenic vistas across Kowloon and Hong Kong.Moreover, a 10-metre long Video Eye is set atBall Atrium, allowing visitors to grasp upcomingactivity and latest news of the mall.

MegaBox has four distinctive lifestyle-themezones catering to shoppers’ personalized tastesand aspirations: IN-Style embraces fashionsand accessories currently in style; Better HOMEfeatures the collection of home improvementstores; and FAMILY Circus offers an electricaland electronics centre and a book city. Theseare complemented by EATertainment acrossseven floors, with an array of theme restaurants,specialty cinemas, an ice rink and a 105,000-sq ft all-seasons theme park.

UA MegaBox comprises six theatres withover 1,000 high-back reclining seats. Custom-built at MegaBox across five storeys of space,and equipped with giant screens and state-of-the-art digital surround-sound andprojection technologies, the IMAX Theatredelivers an entirely new theatre experienceby turning Hollywood movies, documentariesand adventures into revolutionary IMAXExperience.

Upon completion, MegaBox will host morethan 30 gourmet restaurants in an area of280,000 sq ft, two floors of which will be basedon a ‘Chopsticks’ theme featuring China’sprovincial cuisine. ‘Chopsticks’ also boastsdistinctive interior design themes. Located ontwo connected floors, ‘Chopsticks’ presents awarm and comfortable ambience set against abackdrop of vivid colours. Decorated in aChinese style featuring a chopsticks motif, theinterior design offers enough space to seat largenumbers of customers in the central area. It alsohas a large LCD screen showing cooking andgourmet programmes as part of the overallculinary experience.

The completion of MegaBox, coupled withGovernment’s plans for the redevelopment ofthe Kai Tak Airport site and other developmentsunderway at Kowloon Bay, will help brand this

area as an important new metropolitan districtwhere the East Kowloon action is.

Kerry Properties Limited is the developer ofMegaBox. The construction cost of the projectwill amount to HK$2 billion. The retaildevelopment is slated for completion by thesecond quarter of 2007.

Enterprise Square 5 Office TowerCombining stylish, cutting-edge design withclassically elegant architecture, the twin officetowers at Enterprise Square 5 enjoy brilliantpanoramic view of Victoria Harbour, and arewell received by large corporations. TheEnterprise Square 5 building complex sharesthe ground floor with MegaBox. It features aseparate ramp to enter the Office Tower lobbyareas on level 1. Level I of the complex is thelobby entrance for both Tower 1 and Tower 2.This pickup and drop-off area for the officetower is also shared with an entrance to theMegaBox shopping mall.

Thetop two floors are connected by a sky atriumhaving huge windows overseeing harbour view.Enterprise Square 5 has a ceiling height of up to2.8 metres with provision of raised floor system,emergency power supply and wireless LAN.
