Casa del sol is a large spa cottage that has a full kitchen, dining room and living room for relaxed meetings or brainstorming sessions. There is also a large wrap around veranda that provides a picturesque setting for informal getherings. It is located directly across the road from the main inn.

Sentosa spa cottage is another large cottage that has a full kitchen, living room, dining room and outdoor patio that can accommodate casual meetings. Located 500 metres away from the main inn.

Innkeepers is a two storey spa cottage with a large kitchen, dining and living room. Ample space is available for gatherings and brainstorming sessions.

If you do not require a formal meeting space, many of our cottages work very well for small gatherings or brainstorming sessions.

Demonstrations Interested in learning a few new culinary tips while at Ste. Anne’s Spa? Join our Pastry Chef for topics from moulding chocolates and bonbons, to creating marzipan fruits, and designing artistic sugar creations. Baking not your thing, then our Executive Chef can spend time teaching your team how to make perfect hors d’oeuvres or decadent sauces.

Classes Our Executive Chef is ready to inspire your team with local seasonal fare and organic produce, enhance your cooking skills and rapidly expand your recipe repertoire. Each class will feature demonstrations and hands-on learning in a relaxed atmosphere.

Private ChefOne of the most unique attributes of Ste. Anne’s is the ability to have our very own Chef prepare a delicious 4-course dinner for you in the privacy of your spa cottage or at our Maison Sante Function room. This is your chance to get all of your culinary questions answered and really get to know one of Ste. Anne’s top Chefs. Your group will choose hors d’oeuvre, appetizer, main dishes and dessert in advance. Then look on as your Chef creates tantalizing items like pesto shrimp wrapped in cantaloupe, pan seared coconut crusted lake perch with spicy caramelized onion and butter scotch crème brulee. Wellness Workshops

Healthful IntentionsIn the world of business, goal-setting is the way we move forward and grow. In our personal lives, we often get so focused on what lies ahead that we may overlook the gifts we have today. In this introspective workshop, participants will work through a questionnaire that asks them to reflect and observe their current lifestyle habits and ways of thinking, as well as their work/life balance. From their observations, individuals will create intentions, affirmations and personalized meditations based on the concepts of mindfulness and the practice of gratitude, to support a more balanced mindset and lifestyle.

Core Strength: Yoga and Pilates Exercises for Strong Backs and CoreThis is an excellent session to complement Strength Training for Healthy Backs as participants are taught mat-based exercises which help to strengthen and stabilize the core and back muscles that support good posture and help alleviate back pain. Taught as a fusion of Pilates and yoga, your instructor will take you through a series of exercises, stretches and postures designed specifically for those looking to support a healthier mid-section. All participants should be mobile and able to move freely from standing to lying down.

Breath and Meditation Techniques for the WorkplaceIn this 45-minute workshop, the instructor will introduce participants to various breathing styles and simple meditation techniques to help support a calm and centered mind and body. This interactive workshop is suitable for absolutely anyone and offers your employees skills that can be easily applied in stressful workplace situations.

Workplace Stretching For many of us who spend long hours sitting at desks and behind steering wheels, poor posture is a challenge we struggle with. One of the easiest and most effective ways we can improve our posture and relieve tension in the body is by incorporating simple stretching sessions into our day. This workshop offers participants simple exercises that can be done at work, in a small space, or seated at a desk, and is suitable for anyone.

Healthy Backs: Strength Training Exercises for Strong BacksThe more time we spend seated at desks, the weaker our backs become. This one-hour session takes place at masion Sante and guides participants through a series of strength-based exercises using machines, free weights, and body weight to build strength and mobility in the muscles that stabilize and mobilize the spine. A certified personal trainer will be your guide to ensure that all participants are performing exercises safely and effectively. This workshop requires proper running shoes, and that all guests are mobile.

Outdoor Exploration

The Amazing RaceIf team-building, fun, fresh air and fitness is what you have in mind for your group, then The Amazing Race is a great fit. Working in pairs or teams of 3, participants will explore the beautiful rolling Northumberland Hills while on a mission to troubleshoot, solve riddles and find clues as an interactive race to the finish line. This program is recommended for groups of 6 or more who enjoy physical activity and challenge.

Boot CampThis class will be in a circuit style, alternating cardio and different body weight exercises. If the class is very fit they can expect a lot more challenging exercises and routines.

Blind Scavenger HuntHave fun, gain trust in yourself and your fellow employees. You will gain self-confidence and get a fun filled hour of activity. Working in pairs and using clues, you will guide your partner safely to each new location throughout the property. Active and great for building trust, confidence and fellowship.

Guided Walks During this group wellness class you are invited to join us for a walk through the rolling Northumberland Hills. On your journey along our groomed trails you may encounter in Ste. Anne’s cedar forest, a spring-fed creek full of life or even discover Ste. Anne’s Farms - home to a number of domestic horses.

Guided SnowshoeIn this group wellness class you will have the opportunity to snowshoe through the rolling snow-draped hills of Northumberland County. You will be given instructions on how to use your state-of-the art snowshoes before you begin your guided snowshoeing experience through our outdoor trails.

Morning MuckJoin our Stable Caretaker for the morning chores at Ste. Anne’s Farms. Make sure you bring appropriate footwear (rubber boots or an old pair of runners) and a pair of gloves. Chores include feeding the horses and cows, turning out the horses, cleaning the stalls, sweeping, bringing in the outside horses to feed and getting the barn ready for afternoon chores 10 person maximum per session

Evening Turn-in Assist our Stable Caretaker with evening turn in at Ste. Anne’s Farms. Chores include turning out any horses that may be in the barn, making sure the barn is ready for animals to be brought in for the night, picking the stalls, filling water buckets, bringing in the horses, feeding the cows, sweeping and general clean up. 10 person maximum per session

Grooming Time Are you feeling like a little one-on-one with an equine? Book some grooming time with our Stable Caretaker and one of the horses at Ste. Anne’s Farms. Our Caretaker will help you to catch your horse in the field, secure him in cross-ties, groom the horse - including brushing the coat and mane, massaging any of the sore muscles, picking their feet and braiding their tail, if time permits. 5 person maximum per session

Horse Connection Enjoy some quiet time while bonding with our horses and getting to know your team a little better in a session of slient reflection.10 person maximum per session

Fieldstone GrottoThis year-round facility features a hot tub, a plunge pool for cooling down and a lap pool where you can swim against a current.

Eucalytus Steam Room This steam room is infused with eucalyptus (pure essential oil) which can be helpful in relieving many respiratory symptoms. The eucalyptus is dispensed automatically.

Locker roomsOur locker rooms features a hot tub, dry cedar sauna, steam room and rain showers featuring Ste. Anne’s Skin Nourishment shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Outdoor poolOur outdoor pool is heated and filled with fresh spring water from the property. It is Olympic-sized so enjoy a leisurely dip or incorporate a few laps into your schedule.

Hiking trailsSte. Anne’s Spa is located on the northern end of a 400 acre property that is rich in natural diversity and geography. Over 30 Km of marked trails await you.

GolfWe partner with Shelter Valley Pines Golf Course - Ontarios finest mid-length 18 hole course. Guests can enjoy 18 holes with a cart and boxed lunch, or if time does not allow, 9 holes with cart. Only 5 minutes away, our spa and wellness allowance can be used towards a round.

Relaxation and Recreation are a part of our spa’s DNA. Fitting in an extracurricular activity during your meeting is easy, with so many options to choose from – we’re sure to have something to meet your group’s needs.

Fitness centreEnjoy a rejuvenating workout or swim at Maison Santé. Maison Santé is equipped with an outdoor endless pool with an underwater treadmill, elliptical machines, treadmills, recumbent bike, rowing machine, inversion table, hoist pin-loaded weights, free weights, dry sauna, outdoor hot tub and big screen TV.

StablesLocated just 5 minutes from the Main Inn, our stables are a popular destination for our guests. Participate in one of our 4 group equine programs, or simply head down to the stables to visit with our horses. Bring them an apple or give them some of the treats at the stables.

Lounge areasSte. Anne’s Spa has numerous lounge areas to sit back and enjoy some time with good friends, a good book or just a quiet moment by yourself. Year-round you can relax in either our sunny spa waiting room, new lounge pavilion or in our quiet Massey living room. During the summer months take in the beautiful scenery while relaxing in our outdoor hammocks, on garden benches and lounge chairs or by the pool on one of two patios with a lovely view of Lake Ontario.

BakeryThis gluten-free bakery and café features a wide selection of cookies, cakes, breads, jams, chocolates and fruit butters made from products found on Ste. Anne’s property. You’ll also find unique gift ideas and products from local farms such as maple syrup, cheese, soap and handcrafted cutting boards using local and exotic salvaged lumber. The bakery also showcases local fare including naturally raised chicken, pork and beef free of hormones and antibiotics.

Our spa cottages are located across 400 acres and each has its own set of unique features and amenities.

Farmhouse: The Farmhouse accommodation is a two story restored farmhouse that overlooks the kitchen garden with an expansive front lawn. This historic spa cottage features a living room with a gas wood stove, full kitchen, three bedrooms, and a deck with a hot tub.

Haldimand: This spa cottage features 2 fully contained accommodations. Each accommodation has a gas woodstove, double whirlpool tub and small living room. Haldimand West features a full kitchen and king bed, while Haldimand East features a kitchenette, 1 king and a day bed.

Birdsong: Large cottage featuring 4 fully contained accommodations (2 with queen and twin, 2 with king and twin). Two accommodations feature a gas woodstove. The cottage has a common kitchenette, a veranda, and an outdoor hot tub*.

Doll’s House: This cozy cottage features 2 fully contained accommodations. The upper level accommodation features a full kitchen, two small living rooms, loft bedroom with 1 King or 2 twins, a small balcony, and one bathroom. The lower level has two twin beds and bathroom with a separate entrance.
