• Structured physical education must be provided for all students, all grade levels, for all award levels, throughout the school year
• Structured physical activity other than physical education classes may also be included for part of the physical education requirement.
• Structured physical activity is – Moderate to vigorous– Planned by a certified PE teacher– Conducted by a teacher (not necessarily a PE teacher)– In increments of at least 10 minutes– Counts as EITHER PE or physical activity
