An AST must be properly abandoned by:◦ 1.) The tank must be cleaned of all vapors and this

includes the piping and fill vent.

◦ 2.) The tank does not need to be removed and the fill pipe must be filled with cement and then capped

◦ 3.) Must be registered with the state.

Items 1 and 2 are correct

#3 – it does not get registered with the state.
