Ever since it first opened its revolving doors in 1867, the Amstel Hotel has been

CHEF’S TABLE A dinner in the middle of our kitchen, at the chef’s table, is without a doubt an amazing experience. You’re seated in the beating culinary heart of the Amstel where over thirty chefs and pastry chefs are hard at work under the leadership of Rogér Rassin and his sous chefs. You’ll experience the sights and sounds of what happens behind the scenes. Chef’s Table is suitable for four to eight people at a price of € 300,- per person. WINE ROOM A great selection of wines is stored in the Wine Room. This is a unique location for a private lunch or dinner. An intimate room where a large oak wooden table accommodates eight to sixteen guests. The price is € 125,- per person for a seven-course La Rive dinner. KITCHEN WORKSHOP Create and enjoy a three-course lunch together with friends under supervision of Executive Chef Rogér Rassin and his team in the kitchen of Restaurant La Rive. You will be welcomed with coffee and pastries where after you and your culinary friends can experience how it is to work in a high performance kitchen. Your homemade lunch will be served to you in our exclusive Wine Room. Available from 6 to 12 persons for € 145,- per person, excluding beverages. Accompanying wines are € 45,- per person.

They were lovingly restored about a decade ago and have been fully equipped with modern comforts. They run solely on electricity. We can fulfil all your catering wishes, whether it's an atmospheric dinner on-board or a culinary tour from restaurant to restaurant. The Classic Boat Tours crew are highly experienced and professional. They know their boats and the highlights of the city and they can cater for all tastes in food.
