The New York Times as it appears on the Web
The New York Times App fits better into the IPhone/IPod Touch. It is so much easier to read!
Miner website as it appears on IPhone/IPod Touch. Currently, there is no mobile application for the website. Stay tuned, though – there should be one in the near future!
Some websites adjust automatically to the small screen. Our News & Tips blog is an example of that.
Start by clicking on the icon for the Apps Store.
Downloading Apps to Your iPhone or Ipod
Apps are organized by category (you can scroll down to see more).Click on Music to download a music application.
From the Music list, I’ve selected Top Free. Click on Pandora to download the free Pandora app.
Information about the app will display. This sounds interesting – and it’s free – so I’ll click on FREE to download it.
(Apps that are available for purchase have a BUY button.)
The, click INSTALL.
You’ll be prompted for your iTunes Password. Once you enter that…
Pandora will begin to load – and you’re ready to play.
If you decide you don’t want the app, simply hold your finger on the icon until it starts to jiggle.
Then, click on the X to delete.
