Programme Overview
full programme • WYTF £1bn over 10+ years• 5 West Yorkshire councils + York + WYCA• 26 projects | 60 schemes• commenced April 2015
5 years (2016 – 2021)• £420m schemes to deliver• 40 schemes – construction commenced• road, rail, bus & public realm
Scope of Works
• specific project details on displays & handouts• 10+ years programme means schemes at different stages:
– some at planning/feasibility– some in design/land assembly– Some ready to construct
• 26 projects – broken into smaller schemes and phased to ensure delivery
• key long term goal - skills development, training and apprenticeships
• schemes must deliver long term economic growth NOT just temporary jobs
