Richard Garriott Stejskal

After a number of years of meaning to rejoin NMPCA, but havingsuccessfully put it off, I recently re-activated my membership. I was active in NMPCA serving on theboard and as president.

I have lived in Albuquerque since 1968. I worked for 25 years as a creative art therapist at the VAMedical Center and for 2 years with Special Arts New Mexico. I was on the board and president ofthe Albuquerque Art Business Association. I currently work part time at Home Depot.

I work with clay making sculptures. My work has been shown widely and was featured in an articlein Ceramics Monthly. Currently I show at Not Sheep Gallery in Columbus, Ohio and Gallery Piquel inNew Hope, PA. I have taught workshops at Santa Fe Clay, College of Santa Fe and the Mendocino

Art Center.
