What is generation

« C »?

Back in time, a generation was made by the gap between each people’s age. In France for example, we considered that a genuine generation was a twenty years gap between two people.

Let us comment the blogspot article « meetgenerationc ».

As said before, we thought about a twenty years gap. Now, it is

more about a way of thinking, of being connected, of interacted

and, of course being informed.

WHY THESE DIFERENCES?

Overconnected and over informed

If we ask people what are milennial kids, the first thing that will come to their mind is:

« Never talking to each other, allways the eyes staring their phone »

In some ways it is true, because it is not a rare think to watch a group of people gathered but not even speaking to each other.

But are not they really speaking finally?

This is not because people are not talking to each other that is making them stay silent. In fact, that generation is speaking even more than people could think. Tweeting, texting, sharing, watching. The amount of information is terrific and they are aware of their environment.

The thing which looks weird to other generations is that they are redifining the way of acting, thinking and working. No need to gather ten people on a spacific place

Do you trully believe they are less productive?

SO DO I AGREE WITH THE ARTICLE?

Regarding creativity, curating, informed, I do agree that generation C is, indeed, quite connected and effeicient.

Yet, there is a point which is missed: the unchecked information.

Personnaly, I stopped watching TV more than ten years ago, I prefered crossing data by myself. Now, generation C « believes » what they see on the Internet to be real.

Taking Twitter for example, if anyone tweets that a person is dead, then the planet is set on fire and everybody believe it, which is quite dangerous.

As we know, intelligence is the strongest weapon in history.

Being part of Generation C is not a matter of age, it is a reflection of society. Connection brings a lot of happiness and a lot of sad moments. As In Real Life, the most important remains to Control what you life, eith it is tangible or not.
