The first two academic years are divided into four semesters which are devoted to

preparing the student for clerkship experiences in the clinical years. The studentprogresses through a series of clinical clerkships in the major disciplines for the next 12months. In the remaining year, there are four months of required clerkships and five toseven months of electives.
