OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAMME :
1. Health Awareness to the public
2. Awareness regarding Ayurvedic medicine
3. Uprooting the diseases with herbal medication and its modalities
Brief Report of the Programme: The Hospital team of FIMS visited Kherkimajra
around 9:30 AM . The Sarpanch Of the village and some other senior persons of the
village along with patients around 40 assembled at the camp area which was given for
the camp. The team started with the awareness programme regarding Ayurvedic
treatment modalities available in SGT FIMS hospital along with their benefits. More than
50 Patients, consulted for different diseases like- Sandi vata,Amlapitta Kamala,
Vibhanda, Pramaha, Kasa, Swasa etc. The patients who were in need of other
Ayurvedic modalities were instructed to visit SGT FIMS Hospital. The outdoor patients
were treated with the Ayurvedic medicine and for the follow up patient asked to visit
SGT FIMS Hospital. For Some Patients Home remedies were advised for prevention of
the diseases and for managing the life style disorders through natural herbs.

Brief Report of the Programme:
Educational visit to CSIR- NISCAIR- NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE
COMMUNICATION & INFORMATION RESOURCES, New Delhi
Educational visit for one day as per Curriculum planed on 29-11-2019 at NISCAIR the Students
of 2nd Year BAMS along with faculty of FIMS Dr. Vidyavati, Dr. Premraj Chaudhary, Dr. Arvind
and Dr. Milind reached by 10:35 AM. Welcoming of faculty and students was done by the
NISCAIR team Mr. Javed incharge Director of NISCAIRdR. RS Jaya Somu, Dr. Sunita Garg Dr.
Prasanna and Dr. Arvind Meena followed by lecture of Dr. RS Jaya Somuon Scientific session on
research Publication, Entrepreneurship in herbal plants, herbarium techniques etc. . The second
lecture was delivered by Dr. Sunita Garg from 12:30 PM onwards regarding
RHMD/Conservation. PGR/ Preservation, Raw materials, Herbarium and museum at Delhi.
Need of Authentication certification ? Herbal drug research and development, adulteration and
substitute, authentication by morphologically key characters of crude drugs. Herbaria in
Delhi/NCR. Entrepreneurship prospects. After lunch session students visited Museum,
Herbarium and Lab followed by Nursery visit. The team of NISCAIR gives few medicinal plants
for FIMS herbal garden.
