OverviewMedical Disc Publisher is an efficient image
distribution system dedicated to all diagnostic
departments. It allows smooth recording of medical
images from diagnostic devices onto CD and DVD
media quickly and efficiently.
The system is fully compatible with DICOM standards
and allows recording medical discs with different types
of DICOM objects (MR, CT, CR, US, XA).
The creation process is based on data received from
various sources. Patients studies can easily be sent
from a PACS archive, diagnostic modality or doctors
workstation and recorded onto CD/DVD.
Medical Disc Publisher makes it possible to reduce
operating costs, to save valuable time of medical
staff and to enable smooth distribution of medical
images in all medical units.
The user-friendly studies-manager panel with built-
in studies browser enables searching all studies to
be recorded in one place. Additionally the system
enables the creation of colourful custom CD labels
with a unique logotype and contact data or usage
of designed CGM disc label which is initially set
as a default in the system.
The embedded DICOM Viewer on each recorded
CD/DVD allows the user to display images on
a computer without the need to install any
additional software for viewing.
