JustificationThe Salvadorian Health System is going through one of the worst financial crises. There is not enough medical equipment; neither are there medications in our national hospitals which serve most of our elderly, adult, and child population. We need to provide new ways of addressing this situation.


General ObjectiveTo improve the health of people at risk, offering them health services to which they have no access.


Specific Objectives To provide general medical assistance, gynecology, and mental health orientation to the Santa Gema community located in Santiago de María city.

To promote educational and awareness workshops concerning hygiene habits, prenatal care, and mental health.


Action ZoneSantiago de María, Usulután, El Salvador, Central America.

BeneficiariesCChildren, adults and elderly people of Santa Gema.


The Organization Initiating The Project: Church of Christ

Expected Results Health care alternatives will be provided for the chosen communities.

People will receive primary heath care.

Educational and awareness workshops on hygiene and mental health will be presented.


PerspectiveWe want to expand our mission and become multiplying agents of this project from the social and human perspective, focusing on helping the needy, pulling our resources and efforts together, and seeking God’s wisdom.


Project Presentation


With a strong desire to serve and to become part of the solution to the problems mentioned before, we are now planning this project. We believe we are following the steps of our Lord Jesus Christ. He not only offered spiritual consolation to the multitudes which came to him, but also was concerned about their physical illnesses and struggles.


With mercy and power, He healed those who came to him. His love is the center of our efforts and the power which drives our projects and impels us to offer our lives unconditionally.


We are totally committed to serve those who need the most. We work in an organized way, coordinating our efforts according to our talents and skills. We involve medical students and medical professionals already active in our churches.


Compassion is a fundamental pillar for us. Likewise, we believe in the need for getting the people of God involved and united to shed a light of hope for those multitudes who live in darkness.


We are building a network of volunteers with a compassion profile. We serve with integrity. We show our love with our messages and our actions.


We are pioneers in the sense that we are are the first ones to organize a medical campaign of this nature with Salvadorian professionals and volunteer Salvadorian medial students and that partners with other Christians in Mexico and the USA.


Our vision is that, in the long run, our projects will be self-sufficient.
